I got one of the Bell Tower's CDs when I found out that Terry Bickers was producing them. I liked his band Levitation, so I figured they would be interesting. I still have the CD, and after seeing this old net-footage, I'm glad I kept it. And the Lost In Hollow vid is pretty cool. Very dreamlike.

Wow... I always thought Belltower's one album 'Popdropper' was one of the great unsung albums of the early 90's - it contains both of the songs featured here ("Outshine the Sun" & "In Hollow")... I've been a fan since forever ago and I never knew videos for these even existed. Love the faux-british accents. And watching the ever-lovely Britta making "campfire eggs" for the boys is a treat. Thanks X 1,000 for posting this.

I remember Britta and Jody and then drummer Tommy coming in every day to the cafe I worked at (lite affair cafe in Charleston, South Carolina) and just drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes and talking about their band. I saw them live a lot and they had just gotten a lucrative publishing contract so they didn’t have to work. I was happy for them. My band was kicking ass too and I was surprised they didn’t get big. They didn’t have English accents then though 😉 but they were kind people. I still need real rock and roll and that’s why my bands recorded with steve albini and we sound the way I like. Check out Prince of lilies and Barb wire dolls

I saw these at The Venue in New Cross when I was 16 or 17....tried to stage dive but nobody caught me. Luckily I was very drunk or I might have seriously hurt myself.
