i am korean, all ages in korea loved bigbang the mostt, no idols can keep up with them. their pop was more powerful and emotional including their japanese song, real vocal band. times is changed but their pop is ahead of times. of course their ticket power was incredible. in fact, they destroyed old pop profit chain, so many hate and bully,, sad thing.

My biggst regret in my life will always be that I did not had the chance to see these guys perform live.
BIG BANG! The kangs! One of the first groups that got me into Kpop back in 2010. Haru Haru is my favorite Big Bang song. TOP is the blonde rapper. Fun fact: He's going to the moon, like the real moon, as a member of the first civilian expedition to the moon.
My bias is Taeyang, that blonde singer hitting them riffs and runs. His next solo comeback is coming soon and the first single drops next week and features Jimin of BTS!

@@toablowing7818 of course 4th gen Kpop groups worked hard to be where they are now. It is a tough competitive industry that expects hard work and high standards from its performers. But it's like after the calculator was invented, people changed how they did calculations. I didn't say BIGBANG created all the background for later groups to move forward on their own. I said groups LIKE BIGBANG. Without 1st, 2nd, 3rd gen groups having existed, Korean music would still be trot and ballad orientated, as it was in the early 2000's. It's like Elvis Presley's in the 50's, Beatles in the 60's Rap in the '80's etc. There are points in time when artists make breakthroughs in music and other and later artists benefit from this. It doesn't detract from the later artists' skills and abilities - and hopefully among the 4th generation,, there are artists that will take Korean music that next step forward.

Taeyang from this group is coming out with a single with Jimin from BTS next week. Blue in this live performance isn't the same as the recorded version - I think I prefer the recorded version but they did well on the live. If you liked this live performance by Big Bang this isn't even their best work so you'll find more you'll enjoy. I love the live version of the balled "If You" by them. I saw them live when they came to NYC during their MADE tour and they really know how to put on a show and create fan engagement. Thanks - loved your reaction. Always love BIGBANG. I think Korean has a more lyrical sound than Japanese (and than English too) in general - so for gentler songs like blue I probably prefer the Korean version - but still love the song in Japanese.

You guys VIBIN (check out Taeyang's new single with Jimin out now) with the old school Bigbang. Love it! Miss those 90's RnB music. You guys barely scratched the surface of this concert, which is the best of their Japanese concerts, Japan Dome Concert Tour. The 360 degree stage was built so each member could interact to the fans around the stadium.
Their live performances are on another level. That's why they are them Kings.....legendary.

I know this was a month ago, so you probably won't see this, but Bigbang's live band is call the Band Six. They toured with them a lot. The guitarist is Justin, who toured with Machine Gun Kelly this past year. They are an integral part to many of Bigbang's concerts. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but if you do, I figured you'd like to know this. They are amazing and often don't get enough recognition except for in the heavier Bigbang fan circles. But when you are watching their Japan lives and later concert footage, you need to know who they are imo. They also toured with 2NE1 as well as with Blackpink during their first world tour/coachella performance.
Justin was with Lil Wayne too and he released a song or something not long ago

Lorianne Gibson of P Diddy making the band fame directed their tour for the album "fantastic baby" was on, not sure if she produced this one too. The fantastic baby tour I think is the first tour they worked with 'the band six' that you see in this video. I think Lauriann connected big bang with the musicians. Since working with big bang the band six ended up being the live band all YG artists used when going on tour
