Hey that Adrian bloke is really good at beach driving 🤣🤣🤣
We were there for 6 days in June 22. A marvellous and wild place. Your trip was similar to ours. Great memories watching your video. Thanks.
Thanks Guys ,as always enjoyed the video .Thanks for showing us around the island. Keep up the great work . 👍👍🍻🍻
Our pleasure!
Great video, such good presentation. Brings back memories of past overlanding trips up the west coast, and help plan for the next trip. Many thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your drone shots are amazing
Fantastic episode, glad that numbers are limited as it should preserve the area with any luck. If only mote people tool into account that you cart out what you carted in. The time-lapse was special
One of your best, very enjoyable, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great vid guys, thanks.
Thanks again!
i love it
Blessed be the remoteness! It acts as a limiter on who gets to DHI and stops it from losing its appeal for me.
I'm constantly amazed at how much rubbish is washed up on west coast remote beaches. The threat of micro plastics is really a problem for the world's oceans.
Great episode thanks.
Yes I agree the limited numbers is a great idea and something I think could be incorporated into other parts of Aus. It’s a bit disheartening seeing the rubbish and just how much there is
The best video you've done!
Another great video, very enjoyable!
Cheers mate!
Holly & Matt thanks for the video 👍👍
Our pleasure!
Beautiful!!
Good Morning 😊 Awesome video 👍🏼 Beautiful Scenery 👏🏼
Greetings Mate & Cheers 🍻 From South Africa 🇿🇦
Thanks mate!
Fabulous, thanks to all.
Thank you
You can buy diesel there - just pay top dollar but hey you are remote. Last trip we did there, friend blew two tires, had to come from Geraldton to Denham and then over. Cost him $3k 😬
Amazing place to do with group of friends - we love it.
Ooh that time lapse 🤤😎. Great spot 👌
Thanks 👍
Thank you for showing us Dirthog Island (I like to call it 🌭). Look like u guys had some great weather you guys were there. There's a spot on the island where you can watch turtle hatching but has to come at the right season and I guess 🤔
Awesome photography once again
Thanks a lot 😊
great T-shirt !!!
Was this done after the long range tank problem ? Have you had fixed yet ? Anothe great vid and keep up the great work
Make sure you come prepared 😂 Dutch explorer Dirk Hartog landed there in 1616 he left a Pewter Plate with an inscription on it - which is now in a Museum in Amsterdam -
👍
Was there in 2014 and it looks like it has change a bit. That mystery drive wasn't then then, now I have to plan to get back there very soon.
Its an awesome drive
Thank goodness he eventually got a fish (or two).
Awesome video and content as always.. you mentioned going to Surf beach but did not show any of that.. did you see the sharks? We were there just last week and the sharks at Surf beach was a standout highlight for us.
We did show a bit of it on the drone but we didn't see any sharks
That night to day shot 👌.
It was actually moonrise!
@@OverlandTravellers oh true
Hopefully get there one day😀
Its worth checking out!
FYI - Tailor not Salmon. Thanks guys.
Marty from Perth
What drone are you flying guys, and are you using a polarized filter for the footage over the water? Amazing scenery, and so well presented.
Either a mavic 3 classic or a mini 3 pro and not using any polarizing filters or nds, they’re on the list though
@OverlandTravellers thank you. I was just about to upgrade my Mini 3 Pro with the Air 3 then they brought out the Mini 4 Pro just to confuse me 😁
Looks amazing you guys always photograph places so well. Am heading there in April next year. Delicate question but I guess you need to be 'fully' self contained with limited to no toilet facilities?
There are toilets at designated camps run by the national park :)
Most of the NP campgrounds don't have toilets. We visited all except Urchin Point and only Withnell Point had drop loos.
thanks @@adventureunlimited I guess that means a chemical toilet or similar?
@@cathbp4089 They actually recommend that you don't use chemical toilets and do an old fashioned dig, as there's no dump point on the island
@@adventureunlimited Oh really, thanks! Feels contra to leave no trace. We will have one with us in any case...
Worth noting that the DPAW sites need to be booked, so you can’t just camp anywhere willy nilly as you may be in a spot that someone has paid for the privilege of having the spot to themselves. Best to do your research and book the camps you want 👍
correct
Love the show guys 👍👍👍but can u dust off the old girl “hj47” for a trip 😂👍
It needs a lot more than a dust off 😅
What was the condition of the track between mystery beach and Charlie’s harbour (new track)?
Barely used
Where is the 40 Series??? Will you ever go back to it?
What awning of you using?
How much weight in that 79 Series?
In the shed. Yes. Destination 4WD. A lot.
Hi,is the cruiser 2”lift with 35’?
Yep
First
Noice....
👍
Classic CZcams. Thumbnail is a pretty girl in bikini, frolicking in the warm glow of the sun. In reality they are all in jackets freezing their arses off while it blows a gale. Great vid though. Would love to visit that island.
It is 'Dirk', not Durk. 🇳🇱
Yep you got it
have to sell a kidney to get there
Not quite
7:28 😂😂😂😂 Either fake bogging or just another 40psi club member.
Definitely couldn’t be soft sand. Also we actually had our tyres at 100% full we always make sure it’s at 100 on the gauge.
@@OverlandTravellers we are all quite capable of watching the footage and seeing that the ties are bagged. Yeah mate, all sand is soft but that sand ain’t even a bother, stop faking it or I’ll just call you Graeme Carhill
@@dronewild3234 Allll right mate you caught us we faked it 🤷♂️
