Saw the lovely Etta James perform her magic, on the same bill as Bobby Blue Bland and the mighty BB King, at the Mann Music Center in Philly back in the mid 90s...my God, that woman could SING like an angel! Sad to think that all those legends have passed on from the mortal coil, but hot damn, what a once in a lifetime show that was!
I have no idea how Mr. Johnson does it, but to me it sounds like at least 5-6 hands are playing....but I can only see 2.... pure magic ;-)!!!
Time and again I have watched Justin play....It looks easy. Doesn't it? When I pick up my own guitar, I understand just a little more of Mr. Johnson's genius.
