Perfect day aboard PS Waverley at sea

(A little wind noise is only just for first minute or so at the Pier).
Enjoy a look all around the ship at sea, including the steam engines here :)
I've included 20-30sec views of most scenes, some longer with sea-scapes, so you can 'get into the scene' and enjoy it all, just as if you were aboard with me.
You'll see longer sequences showing the engines at 'full ahead' as well as being started, stopped and reversed, showing the control levers being activated as well as the engines turning.
At Southend Pier, we join the World’s last paddle steamer which goes out to sea, as the gangways are drawn in, we get great views of the Pier as we depart, with the Purser’s welcome message.
The c2c train strike took away just under 400 passengers from this sailing, but they carried on nonetheless - this enabled very unusually fine unobstructed views all around decks of the ship during the voyage to Clacton.
We take a detailed look at the fabulous and hypnotic Rankin & Blackmore steam engines - the beating heart of the ship, including a reversing sequence leaving Clacton Pier.
