I've watched dozens of reactors react to this song and there is two things that are the same across the board. One, Pink Floyd doesn't claim rights and demand the video be blocked and two, every reactor is deeply affected by the lyrics and music. This is a timeless classic that touches everyone, no matter their preferred genre of music. I have heard it thousands of times and it still affects me differently each time I hear it.
Do yourself a favor and listen to the whole album uninterrupted. It's only 45 minutes. You'll never regret it or forget it.
    Cheers!

That's the most lucky thing of all: Pink Floyd's stuff doesn't get blocked for reactors. Almost everyone of these reaction channels built their channels in the beginning with Queen and Pink Floyd. You'll notice however that after awhile, Queen's studio album stuff started getting blocked, unless there was an "official video" that went with it. CZcams started pushing reactors into live versions of the music only.

Bruh! It is NEVER too late to follow your dreams. I went to college at the age of 40 and got my Bachelor's Degree while raising 4 fairly young kids. I got to work in a field I love for 15 years. I don't say this to brag. Just sharing my experience and hope. Now I am a 63 year old woman with COPD and when it says, "shorter of breath and one day closer to death", I think "man, when I was 16 years old listening to this I never imagined it would be like this". It's all good though. I have a lot to be grateful for and try to maintain an attitude of gratitude. Since one of my children passed I have to get up every day and literally choose life...but I do. You have got to listen to Great Gig in the Sky. It is about dying and the afterlife, hence the name. I know Ima' be there, along with all my loved ones! Godspeed my friend, on your musical journey!

I just came accross this reaction video some 11 months after you posted it, and I can see how it affected you. That was one of the reactions Pink Floyd intended people to have. The song is about how time never stops and life keeps going, whether we're living it or not. But there's another way ot looking at that I think is equally the message the Floyyd wanted everyone to get. It's NEVER too late to live life!!! You can start today! I know it's hard for some people to grasp that fact, but it's never too late to start embracing life. I'm 56 years old and disabled. I don't get out of the house a lot, partly due to Covid but I was pretty much a homebody before that. But I do my best to live my life as well as I can. I juist went to Vegas this past weekend and ate at a 5 star restaurant for lunch. I'm going to see my favorite team play in a few weeks. I have plenty of life to live and I do the best I can to live it. That's the message Pink Floyd was sending the world in this song. Embrace life! Get out and live it!

It was a stupid mistake.I did not drive in S E London. It was in NW London. It was pouring of ain. My Football (soccer) team lost at home on that Saturday and on the way back to the market over which I lived then, a local fishmonger accidentally threw boiling hot water over my jeans/legs and until 5 years ago I still had the ticket which is how I knew it was 75 pence or $1. It is one hell of an emotional ride and an experience. Same for “The Wall”. These are both Album oriented in how they were produced, each song a movement of the whole.

Pink Floyd were masters at concept albums. They were pure art. They grasped at, embraced, manipulated, and thoroughly KNEW your soul in ways you can't imagine. The connection was almost always simple melody. When you dive deeper into the lyrics, you are lost and found at the same time. Welcome to the world of stoner rock. You will love it here. Next up, you should bend your ears to some Kyuss or Queens of the Stone Age. Trust me. Oh, and Monster Magnet!

Time is a one way street. 10 years have got behind you. Run and run to catch up to the sun but it’s sinking. Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter the older you get. First heard this song when I was 12 in 1979 and I never took those words to heart. I don’t regret my life but if I truly heard this song back then I think I might have done things differently.
