Love the attention to detail
thank you so much❤
Awesome cake! How did you make the character?
This is AWESOME! ❤️😍 Would you be able to post a supply list? Seems like many things are needed!
Thank you for the tutorial.
I had never used fondant before.
Here is the best we could do
Such a cool detailed cake! Love the outcome ☺
Thank you! :)
Hi, what recipe did you use for the cake? I'm looking to make this but just with a Maderia vanilla sponge. Thank you! x
Fabulous!!!!!
You did an awesome job! I absolutely loved this tutorial. 👍👍❤
Thank you! I appreciate the nice comment!
My wife used to use old coffee cans as baking pans to make things like the train boiler. She made a Star Wars R2D2 cake. The dine in R2D2 was made in a metal mixing bowl.
That's so cool!! Sounds like she had a talent! :)
Hey this is amazing...can you put a list of the things you need etc ?
Awesome train cake! I’m subscribing to your channel. Also, I love your voice 😊

Great job! How long did the whole project take you to finish? That looks like it took quite a bit of baking and organizing.
Thank you, Peter! This one took SO long because of all the details. I lost track of time. Maybe 4 days?
@@SugarHighScore just checking if the cake stayed fresh that long? I really want to attempt this for my train infatuated soon-to-be 2 year old. but just weary of starting too early in case the cakes get stale. Would really appreciate your help! :)
What was the weight of the final product??
Thank you!
Hermoso trabajo, felicitaciones!!!
thank you very much!😊
Hi! This is amazing, what chocolate cake recipe do you use?
I made this so long ago that I can’t remember. Lately I’ve been using the chocolate cake recipe by Yolanda Gampp.
👏👏👏👏👏👏 wow
Marvelous 👍
Thank you!
Tem como fazer com pasta de ninho no Brasil pasta americana é caro demais
I finally got to make the steam locomotive cake for my grandson. Oh, the work. You made it look far easier! Turned out great though! I cheated and used a styrofoam cylinder. For the smoke stack, I used the bottom part of a wire hanger, the kind with the white, firm cardboard rolled around the wire bottom. I cut that part of the hanger off and used only that. I bought a tall hollowed-out support tube (used for dowel rods) I covered that in the black fondant about half way only. Insert that into cake. I then bent the wire with the attached cardboard the hanger comes with, then I cut it using wire cutters, bent it for the "smoke" then lubed up the top bent part of the hanger (keep and bend that cardboard) with clear piping gel and attached lots of cotton balls. Then I inserted that into the fondant covered hollow support tube. Was amazing!
You're right, this one was so much work. These are great tips. Thank you for sharing!
So cool
