I'm not sure if you clarified this in the video, but if you have a prime and a regular version of something, will both pop up or only the prime before circuit?

As someone who’s lightly touching Duviri because they’re LR3 and getting tired of initial release bugs, it’s nice to learn what the game modes should be like without playing them

I have not been able to finish a single mission because of insane lag, or because the missions softlock.
I guess I must be insanely lucky, in my three days of playtime I've only had those issues on day one
my first 4 rounds of circuit today bugged out so I didn't get any rewards for playing for 1-2 hours, so you're not really missing out xD
I haven't experienced any bugs besides looking at the sky while waiting to load... I'm rather surprised given how many are having issues.

My randomized reward for steel path was 5000 credits. I knew at that moment that I would not be going over tier 10 each week, ever again.
Just a very good warning, if you have sindicate weapons to sell, DONT pick them if they show in the circuit, even if game shows your build weapon, the "for trade weapon" will get xp making it untradeable .

The Circuit is what's finally pushed me to get a good amp built as your "fifth ability" is the one thing you're guaranteed to have on every run

The Rahn Prism has Okay Damage... Good Range And It's Full Auto so I Can Grind Down Nullified Bubbles with it 👍

Got to 10 waves in SP and our 100000hp defense object died in a single hit to the level 800 enemies. FUN.
If you get past wave 6-7 in steel path and you see the next wave is defense, just leave - you're just gonna be disappointed when you get cheesed and lose literally all the progress you made.
Yeah, their definitely needs a max damage cap on the enemies. I'd say 450ish, enough to one hit most frames once shields break but low enough that modded for health frames will survive one or two hits and this caps hit around lvl 120.
Edit: I picked 450 because that's the break point for health because most frames won't have that much health but a modded frame does. Put on some armour and 100ish is perfectly survivable. To give an idea. That is same damage as a lvl 165 corrupted heavy gunner, so most won't feel this change with some exceptions but those in endurance scenarios or circuit will love this because it let's you control your survival without those mods going useless at some point and wasting a mod slot.

I'm fine with getting one shotted if I can spam my shield gate and dodge, but a stationary object has no protections and especially doesn't in a roguelike mode where you can't guarantee a frame that can protect it

Defense is basically the only one that can be reasonably failed. The other possible fail point is survival, but only if you have a complete inability to kill, and thus gain life support. Me and a buddy were talking about it last night. The consensus seems to be that the defense mission in SP circuit kinda just sucks. Though I don't know what mission type I'd put in over it without it just feeling weird.

Currently it may spawn Duviri-Drifter instead of a Tenno Operator/Drifter, which is irreversible for the remainder of the mission. Bug has been reported to D.E. so stand by for a hotfix.

I only have this happen if there's a Host Migration. I try to keep my runs around 4-5 rounds. Any further and it's just asking for trouble in my estimation.
So... You have access to the duviri drifter abilities? Can you ride a kaithe in the undercroft? That might be fun as a novelty.
It'd be great to be able to configure the mod without quitting the cave, it's bad experience considering how notorious host migration is
Truly, I believe that is on a list of upcoming changes, according to requests, so hopefully that change happens soon, Ive had to make configs specifically for SP Circuit, complete with corrupted faction etc. Really time consuming and mostly annoying when you get given weapons you levelled but got rid of lol
I cannot believe how high quality the new update is. Focusing the game more on movement based game modes like void flood really plays to it's strengths, and the new melee system is very engaging compared to what was in the game previously.
Ive been playing Warframe for nearly a decade now as the game i chill with after work, and i usually do the mindless things like relic cracking and endless missions.
Tho ive never realy liked how i tended to gravitate towards just one loadout, so ive wanted an option to just randomize my gear straight from the mission select.
So this update is what ive wanted for a long time, i feel like this update was made for me.
Also the open world part of this update was good too i guess.

That affinity code will really help level ALL the weapons! I already sold some gear and made around 300p (man, prime parts are selling cheap) so I can start throwing Orikin reactors in all the frames I never used also the ones I fed to the wall. Oh and slots, I need mad slots, DE's best plan to get us to buy plat...

honestly I so much prefer this solo or with friends. I know it's warframe, but it doesn't feel like a mode that should be min-max'd and only be used for resources. It's just fun to dick around in and see how ridiculous it can get. Can't do that with random squads
Me and my buddy (who is extremely cynical) love it because of how the decrees offset bad builds. It’s such a blast to play.
On the contrary I think this mode is fun to play with randoms , you don't know what kind of warframe they gonna have and it's either very good or very bad ...
On random team I got my high range, high duration and high power (for some reason 😂) Octavia
And rest 3 were 1 mesa and 2 mesa prime ..

@@Sci-Fi_Freak_YT I agree. This has been the most fun I've had with Warframe in ages. The decrees toss balance out the window and that's FINE because it gets offset by crappy weapons. Sure, it's hilarious when you get massive status damage and chance while the game hands you a zarr or a bramma, but when you don't get those and you have a Boltor that's suddenly shredding because of damage on reload, damage on headshot, damage while moving, etc all stacking up, it's hilarious. I love this mode. I hope they don't nerf things into the ground because a subset of players are whining about getting bad runs or think they're "too op."

One thing id like to see/know is weird frame interactions when picked for Duviri, ive noticed that Sevagoths shadow resets to rank 0 every time its used if you dont own it are there any other interactions like that, perhaps Exalted Weapons

I wish it was an endless mode, but as of right now, you are lucky if you manage it past round 8 before ANYTHING breaks and completely resets your progress.
To those confused on 5th ability. Its the thing that always does void damage, void abilities such as void mode. If none of these ring a bell, then don't look into it and continue progressing stories.

What I don’t understand is that playing through Duviri you already play as a human drifter, literally your older self, and you even control a freakin Warframe as the Drifter in the goddamn quest. At that point, what exactly are you guys hiding by not explicitly saying what this 5th ability of Warframes is?
Once, I would’ve understood it. Hell, I remember dropping hundreds of hours in Warframe without even knowing about that whole side of things, and being so surprised at how well kept of a secret it technically was within the community after playing through the quests. Even in recent times, before Duviri, Necramech Transference preserved and kept that secret. But DE just HAD to milk newer players seeing a shiny new update and wanting to jump straight into that, for all it was freakin worth. They blatantly stomp on atleast 10 different branches of progression in Warframe with letting ARCANES and Warframes like Trinity farmable through the Circuit.
Like to be clear, I’m not gate-keeping. It’s just that to bend over backwards with letting new players experience Duviri as the first thing, they literally blew so many holes through the natural progression of power in Warframe it’s not even funny. AND THATS WITHOUT MENTIONING the absolute bombshell reveal of the 5th ability that they basically give away first thing, just in that one quest. And I do mean bombshell, because that’s how impactful it used to be. Cause sure you’d technically know that’s what had to be happening you’d never really seen it before, so the reveal still meant something. Now it’s worth very little, if you start with Duviri.
In fact, if you actually start with Duviri, you’re basically playing a hodge lodge of random game mechanics and rewards taken blindly from the entirety of this massive 10 years old game, and just blended together with no unifying goal in mind when building it. Like the game-mode of Void Flood itself was technically one of the very last game-modes you ever unlock, and now you play it first thing???
The entire experience, from top to bottom, seems completely shoe-horned in, because the developers didn’t have the _gall_ to do what was actually necessary: fixes and grinding reductions to massive parts of the game, so that getting to the STORY-DRIVEN Second Dream and War Within quests didn’t take longer than triple the time even completionists spend on fully single player games. You do that, you can slot this in after the New War quest and everything would’ve flowed so much nicer, and freed up the devs to do so much more as well.
Instead, we got whatever the hell this is.

One thing I noted is that Thief's Wit doesn't seem to work in the Undercroft. Not sure if this was a bug or intentional, but no easy finding those Marrows or Fragments :(

During week 5 I got Grendel and my kuva nukor 4 times in a row XD. played for like one hour per run and reached tier ten in one day
8:00 I’m not feeling extra brave but I’m forced to do that because a lot of times I just spawn and ramdom players just went into the portal therefore teleport me in the portal before I even get the choose the warframe, if DE see this it’s actually a simple fix just let you find your teammates after you go in the portal
I think something that could improve The Circuit is personal usage stats being considered when RNGesus decides which weapons you get to choose from. Obviously you shouldn’t always get the weapons you already use all the time, but it shouldn’t offer weapons you own but have never used outside of leveling it up as often as it does.
Like yeah I own way too many weapons that have 0.1% usage or less, and so they don’t have any forma or catalyst on them. That gives a _huge_ disadvantage in Steel Path, and results in the game forcing me to go with a default build on a weapon that desperately needs something better on it.
Could you explain the rapid increase in steel path circuit levels
Which weapons don't appear as loane (as in not from your arsenal)? I know that the best variants of weapons are the ones that appear if owned but what about for example the kuva bramma as there is no normal "bramma", so can that appear? What about weapons with variants that are side grades, or ones with 3 or more, can we predict which is deemed the "best" like is prime favored over vandal etc.
Upgrade variants such as the boltor family will appear. In this example both prime and telos boltor will appear but not the normal.
i got the kuva hammer thing there, so they show up, i believe the game will give normal if you dont own a prime or vandal/wraith, if you do it will the one you own, if you are a hoarder and have everything, then idk, but you for sure will have a good easy time.
had the kuva bramma show up twice in only a few runs, same for the serra (that one i don't own), not seen any kuva weapons i don't own yet, nor zaws in general.
Any kuva/tenet weapons you own will show, I don't think they'll show if you don't own them because there's more to those weapons than just base stats.

because no one can get excal prime due to it being a founders exclusive
the absolute best run ive gotten so far has to be the time i got Citrine with the "enemies have a 50% chance to spread status effects" + "status effects do double damage" decrees, 1st + 3rd ability combo was nuking groups of enemies near instantly
Had a great run with Mesa, with the shots increase fire rate and accumilative shots on a target increase damage
Had a similar fun run to your citrine with my own too, its stupid fun!, but then soon after you get bonked by RNG lol
My Best Run was with Volt + Kuva Tonkor with the 400% Damage On Reload Decree.... And a Bunch of Other Damage Decrees.
We Went 7 Rounds with me Dealing 89% Damage and 970 Kills... I think it was around Round 4 when Things stopped Surviving the First Shot
I carried Players who were 20 MR levels Above me 😎
As I have no option but to play the free tier of Geforce now, there is a problem, when I let it run out it didnt save any intrinsics from a 40m SP circuit run. So you better extract or quit game before it forces you out.

not gonna lie, DE picked the most relatable sounding content creator for this ad, and i could feel how DE cramped your style a little... But got what I wanted, a somewhat-in-depth look at the mode. seems a lot of grind ahead of us... again.
For a game largely about min-maxing your way through difficult content, it feels bad to get a combo that just is not steel path viable. Having to leave after the first objective because of a bad selection isn't fun and a waste of time. For all of the warframes I own, most are not made for Steel Path and would require an even bigger timesink to make them so. Exalted weapons don't go in with their mods either.

Frames are given inherent vacuum and radar in The Circuit. Companions are not allowed to experience the paradox.
Havent unlocked Steel Path yet. Is it worth running Normal Circuit beyond tier 10 rewards? Are the credits/endo worth it or would it be better to just spend my time doing the other credit/endo farm options (PT/Index/Arena)?
The credits/endo tier 11+ rewards are not designed as credit/endo farms but rather bonus rewards for those continuing to play the circuit for its other features - such as just enjoying the mode itself.
@@TheKengineer Ahh gotcha. I do like the roguelike aspect of it (which is funny because I never really play roguelike games lol). But how about running Circuit beyond tier 10 for Intrinsics? Is that a good idea or is it better to run Lone Story/Duviri experience for Intrinsic farming?
@@criomede9536 running the duviri experience with a group is very fast for earning intrinsics. Everyone can go off and due side objectives alone and the decrees and intrinsics are earned for the entire group

Welcome Tenno! Yes, there's a shit ton of stuff in Warframe. But the good thing is almost none of it goes anywhere, so play at your leisure. Getting bored or frustrated? Break off a chunk of something you haven't done yet. You can always loop back when you feel like it to get what you're missing. Enjoy your time; a game shouldn't feel like a job. 😊
as general advice, 1 2 1 1 should be the bare minimum most people doing the bounties should go for. Base duviri drifter is slow, fragile and very likely to get it's ass kicked around by all those mobile and aggressive enemies.
The anti-knockdown when mounted is a huge boost as is the extra HP with decrees for anyone -dumb- brave enough to take on the 6/6 "surprise" without knowing the encounter.
After that it's down to what you run more, if it's circuit you will want more opportunity for better odds of pulling something desirable, if bounty farming the combat path is a godsend as you need all the damage and cooldowns you can get early on (plus calling in a frame for 10 secs in a tougher fight can wipe the board clean with time to spare). i found the riding and endurance fairly lackluster until far deeper in undercroft frames generally won't need the boost unless steel-path and base-horse can cover 90% of any overland items you are encountering.
Fun fact I learned today: if you have max oppertunity....the stalker has a chance to be a warframe choice and he is absoutlely fucking broken. Guy who got it on one of my runs literally destroyed evreything in sight it was GLORIOUS

so if you own a frame go and set up a build for it incase its one that shows up, your build will be better than DEs as you can use subsumes while DEs wont.
Conversely you can Just Delete all the Rubbish Gear you have So that If the game does Spawn an Owned Item... It Won't be that Crappy Stugg you Forgot you Had ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have so Few Warframe's that there's a 50% Chance Il get Something that's Steel Path Viable all because I didn't Claim the 38 Other Warframe's in My Foundry.

They're separate, so you'd need to do both for both sets of rewards
I have Every Base Warframe (on 2 Accounts) so for me that's an Easy Skip 👍
I got tenet cycron, cedo, revenant prime and orthos prime in one run.
You know I went beast mode only to get bugged at round 4 and losing all progress.
I got 30% cc per melee hit, 2x crit dmg, fire frost toxin decrees and atk speed. Holy shit was my orthos deleting stuff with red crits while being supercharged from decrees, then condition overload on top with a viral mag rad tenet cycron!
Oh and not enough! I had roar subsumed on my rev too
I'm SOOO happy with this update. It's literally reignited me and my friends' love for this game- we've done nothing but grind the main game since it came out, I'm already rank 10 in all of the intrinsic paths except Kaithe- but not far from maxing that, too. It's also the first Steel Path thing I've felt comfortable at all doing, which is great as I've needed Steel Essence for AGES and I don't mind only getting some of it in tandem with other Duviri rewards (and the five extra pathos clamps at the end of the whole run is NICE)
I need to start doing the Circuit too, but honestly I'm having a good enough time just spending two to two and a half hours at a time grinding decrees and becoming an unstoppable monster only so I can unlock the ability to play as the Stalker and do it all again--
What’s the best method to actually farm intrinsics?
Play The duviri experience, do all the side quests and kill the enemy camps, been doing this for a while and you can get 100 intrinsics p hour, the drifter eventually will hit Warframe level power.
You can ignore the bounties and just do the side quests, if you leave you keep all the stuff you farmed, and if you want to do the bounties, it'll be giga easy, because of the decrees you got along the way, even one shotting the orowyrm
Exploring the world isn't as boring as you'd think, because you'll need to grind the resources to infuse the ircanom adapters, break every plant you see, you'll need them eventually.
Also, TAKE THE MOVE SPEED DECREE AS SOON AS YOU SEE IT, you won't need the horse to move around, it'll be a perma volt speed buff and it only gets stronger as long as you get decrees.

Part of me wishes we had the option to change up our loadout after about 5 rounds, cause I find using the same equipment boring after a while. And it would grant you the option to build better for the decrees you have accumulated.
A problem I know this is if you have a decaying dragon key your shield gater it's a pain

I've lost all rewards in the circuit twice now because of bugs.
On normal mode the game failed to load me into the next area after a host migration.
On steel path playing solo it failed to load me into the next area after I died because for whatever reason you have to choose decrees while being shot at.
No, you don't. Just don't push the button to choose a decree while being attacked. Choosing them is optional. Be safe. Wait to load into the next zone after the current one ends, or if you have a frame with some stealth/survival (Khora 4, Rhino skin, Revanent, etc) use that THEN check your decree. Annoying? Yes, but also consistent with every other menu in the game outside of solo mode.

The first time I got stuck in the previous area and had to abandon what would have finished my circuit.
The second, because I went down, sent me back to the undercroft waiting area where I got to watch the defense objective's health go down.
It's not that I died once it's that it cost me a steel path run.

If you own both, both can show. Otherwise if you have a normal version pop up when you only own a prime version, make sure to submit a report on the bug report forums. If you're on PC, screenshotting with F6 will save additional mission info in the screenshot that DE can use to help them with bug fixing.

@Killerspacken However there seems to be a bug with the normal Hek spawning for players who own the upgraded versions which there're fixing, it seems there could be other bugged gear too (like trinity for you).

Circuit is a Massive Far Cry compared to Hades.... Atleast Hades never Gave you Something so bad that it Couldn't Kill anything in the First Chamber... event at 37 Heat.

Gotta say, I'm rather annoyed that you cannot check the reward path for the Circuit before making your choice. It's not like the Warframe is the only reason to run Circuit. There might be an Arcane I really want or I might be after a specific augment that I'm in the wrong Syndicates for. Picking your path for the week feels like a blind purchase, and there's no reason why it should.
I chose Ember because I really wanted Purifying Flames. I got Exothermic, which I didn't know was a thing, and it was better, but still would've been nice to have stuck with it BECAUASE it was better instead of blindly hoping for a 25% chance assuming an augment was guaranteed to begin with.
The chance of getting 5 000 credits as a tier 11+ reward make me not want to spend the time on these once I reached tier 10. Even if it's less than the 1 out of 7 chance, as suggested by the reward-screen. This needs to be at least 50 000 or to be removed from the pool.
Also, not being able to edit the weapons you own directly on the selection, but needing to go though 2 loading-screens is a major pain in the A. The same goes for not being able to decide if I want to go steelpath or not, after seeing the selection (At least for solo), instead of having to go through two loading-screens again.
I really hope they add more decrees. These are incredible fun, but there are too few viable ones. Especially defensive ones, right now defence-oriented frames are preferable since offence capabilities are scaling with each round. Adding these and other stat-modifying decrees (Ineract with Multishot, mun-efficiency, reach, armor, shield capacity etc.) would make much more selections viable for steelpath, and add even more variety to normal circuit.
Defence-missions also need tweaking, unless I have an optimized frame, I usually fail on the second rotation on these. Or even the first if it's one of the slightly weaker combinations.

Sun and Moon currently is the only type of Dual handed Nikana.
There are a number of different drifter melee weapons that become available after finishing the Duviri quest. You can find them off to the right of the portal in Teshins cave. Each one requires either a number of duviri resources to buy or some platinum. The duviri resources unlock the drifter melee right away, but only give you a blueprint for a warframe version of the weapon.
@messthesingularion2413 this is worded a bit strangely, but we know what you're getting at. But, just in case:
There are a number of *Two-Handed Nikanas* already in the game. Sun and Moon, as of this comment, are the only *Dual Nikanas* that exist.
You can unlock 4 more Drifter melees: A one handed nikana, a two-handed nikana, a polearm and a hammer.
To unlock them you need a special ressource that drops from the Orowyrm bosses at the end of the Duviri Experience or Lone Story gamemodes.
Each run gives you 10 of these ressources and each of the weapons costs 50 to unlock, except for the hammer, which costs 60. Unlocking a Drifter melee will also grant you the blueprint used to craft it as a melee weapon for your Warframe.
The promo code actually gives a credit booster instead of a resource booster. :(

To those who did not farmed arcanes on tridolon capture, this kinda feels like "endgame"? Because you benefit from having multiple steel path viable builds on many weapons and frames.

5... At least for me there's 5 arcanes then tier 6 is 1k endo and tier 7 is 5k credits

Not to mention the circuit progress needed to hit those tiers is ridiculous... I'm not working that hard for 1k endo and damn sure not 5k credits

I was fighting the Orowyrm for the first time and my game crashed. It's a great update, but my console can only handle so much. It's been a lot of fun, but it gets frustrating when it crashes.
The Spiral Sections appear to have a Memory Leak Somewhere because Everytime I beat The Orowyrm my System Memory Usage Goes Up... But it Never Goes back Down even when I'm back in my Orbiter.

I can't begin to describe how much easier trinity's farm is with this instead of the ambulus fight. It's not a hard fight, but it's tedious and not gurenteed to give you what you want.

Purging it won't do anything as they can still roll if you don't own them.
Just make sure that if you have any meme builds for weapons or warframes, to not have those on config A.
