David: I don't think this one was Georgia's fault.
Fan: No, it was Neil.
David: It was Neil Gaiman's fault. I don't think Georgia entirely understands it either. Did you understand it?
Audience: Yeah.
Fan: It is... Neil said they have struggles with money so they can't afford to pay you for all the Second Season of Good Omens, so they had just some fennec foxes because nobody could tell the difference anyways.
David: Oh was Neil very drunk?
Fan: Maybe you should ask him.
David: Possibly. Right, listen, I'm sure a fennec fox in Season Three is going to do an excellent job.

Omg I knew there were a bunch of David/fox tweets and posts but I didn’t think Neil had made that many himself! I thought most were just the fandom, I didn’t recall him adding so much fuel to the fire 😂😂😂😂
Neil was the one who said it, and is consistent on the joke, but the fan account on Twitter (the picture comparison) is all fan made obviously hehe

@@annadachowska24 I'm probably a runner up, lol! I'm quite a few years older than he is. I love my little Apple desktop and couldn't live without it but have a definite aversion to cell phones and phones in general. But I think that has something to do with having been in customer service for too many years 😅
I wonder if Michael knows it was a fennec fox that kissed him 🦊 Then again, one could argue that that moment was fire, so maybe it was David The Stunt Double after all
