The last part about agile hoops cracked me up, it hit home soo much
I realized that I was making too many mistakes while preparing my CV. This is really cool video and I will suggest this to my friends as well. Thanks for the content. Best wishes!
Neat and amazing as always! Thanks.
Great video. Great resume. Not everyone is ready for this video.
what kind of video would you like to see next jaelson?
Thanks!
I love the way you explain things.
thanks bro, I love the way you subscribe to my channel
Your content is amazing, and the way you explain things, be it code or applying to a job, is very relatable and personable, thank you.
Well thank you Erez!
Superuseful, engaging, respect! Oday You should have a buy me a coffe or beer link!
I do have, but i don't push it properly to people when i should. Thank you very much for the tip, that's my first ever amount of money that i receive here directly from a viewer :D
I loved the video. Very instructive. But I have to disagree about the PR point.
Sometimes those PR comments can lead to productive talks and finding better solutions. It can also benefit the others in the team especially juniors.
BS == Bullshit haha Funny and insightful video thanks Oday!
The senior developer we want and senior developer we deserve!
You’re the viewer I need
But don’t deserve
Sodge
I also add in that i can evacuate 3 adults on my back in case the office suffers an earthquake or a meteor strike.
But i know damn well it is every man for himself when shit really hits the fan and I'm tripping them over and pushing them aside to get tf out first.
But jokes aside, make a guide for junior devs as well. What would you like to see as a recruiter, how strongly would you weigh in open source contributions(at big projects with millions of downloads?). If someone became a top 10 contributor at a very well received project, and submitted thousands of lines of code to production, how strong is that? Or does an internship outweigh this as that is a real corporate experience?
What are the responsibilities of a junior/mid/senior dev?
What will the interviews be like? How much level of Leetcoding is required? And specifically for junior android devs, what would you typically expect them to know or demonstrate in a coding/technical interview round?
those are some damn nice questions, I think it warrants a video of its own, thank you for that and for the joke at the beginning
@@odayprogrammer Please do, I'll be on a lookout.
I'm glad I took those extra 5 seconds to click on your youtube link from reddit, subbed and already added a couple videos to watch later. Content looks promising. Keep it up. 💪
What for junior developers that don't have any commercial experience yet?
Personal projects that you can showcase on the Cv, you gotta put in the work
@@odayprogrammer What would you suggest?
Can we get your template?
here too many people, join the discord server and I can share it there, discord.gg/8mEc3mAa
What should you do if you have less than 2 years experience?
well you just apply to normal Android Developer job posting, not Senior Android Developer
@@odayprogrammer so I do know some people who went to boot camps, got fake resumes through the boot camp and work as senior devs now with less than 6 months experience. I was in one and left due to moral values, but I believe that it kind of exposes titles when it comes to software engineering.
that’s the odd one out of the bunch maybe, I think most companies know what it means to be good at this thing and know how to test you for it. I wouldn’t underestimate this stuff, it’s real
Can you share your discord channel link?
here you go discord.gg/8mEc3mAa
@The Android Programmer
