I really liked that style of video, it was like watching a nature documentary. It was great to see these frogs close up and to hear you comment their history.
graphite awesome! , thanks for the feedback!
I love your frogs. Love the voice over method too!
loving the new format... great video
They are so beautiful and amazing. Thank you for showing them to us.
I like the voice over. It gives you time to think about what you want to say and it makes it move along smoothly.
Joe F thanks, glad you like it!
It’s nice to see all the rare stuff aside from what’s more typical to find in the dart frog hobby!! Awesome job with all those frogs man, and sweet vivs too 💯
Awesome collection 👍👍
Gorgeous collection!!
Excellent collection. Pumillo are a nostalgic fave of mine.
Liked the voiceover and video! Thanks!!

Amazing collection
Those bullseyes are real stunners, overall beautiful collection, nice work they all look fat and happy

@@TroyGoldberg You are very good with husbandry and asthetics in you enclosures
@@michaelmelo8075 much appreciated bud!
love it!
New to your channel. Always been into reptiles and amphibians but never really knew dart frogs were so cool.
Pain & Discomfort yeah, they’re pretty awesome!
So many beautiful species
thanks!
Nice thanks for the vid
Awesome collection! I think it's really cool that you work with a bunch of oophaga! I'll check back with you in a couple months about the Rio colubre, very interested in getting those. Also do you know when your next available batches of escudo and the unknown basimentos will be?
Oh I can't wait to get my self a nice Pumilio setup. Histrionica look great too but I've never actually seen any for sale anywhere in the UK.
Gotta move to the USA. Aus banned everything that's non-native. We got like 3 types of frogs and like 5 types of lizards and like 2 snakes. Wtf.
Great video, how about a plant video soon.
I’ve think I’ve already watched this multiple times
i love oophaga poison frogs!!! do you know if oophaga speciosa still exists in captivity?
Awesome video! It has me catching the dart frog bug. I have a pair of ranitomeya sirensis biolat. I am looking to get some tadpoles to raise. Any suggestions?
Great video! :D Can you maybe do a video about feeding and suplements?
it may be kind of boring, but i will do one soon
What are the tricks to getting Lehmani or Histrionica to breed?
Hey, Troy thanks for another most entertaining video. Please share with me what you think of Galacts. Really like the looks of the red. Difficult.?
james bryan thanks, they’re cool frogs, they can be tricky to though I hear.
Love the collection. Those are some unique frogs. You ever tempted to get into thumbnails at some point?
Chris Duncan thanks!! No I’ve had them before, they’re just not for me... too small, shy, and fast. They’re beautiful frogs, I just never saw them.
What is the comparison between artificial and natural plants?
Great video!!! Where do you sell these guys? I might want some red heads in the near future
thanks, usually people just contact me via facebook
Ive been watching a bunch of dart frog videos I think theyre so neat. Are they a hard pet to keep?
The Leucomela and Tinctorious species really aren’t that tough. You should start building a tank. Getting plants growing. Figure out fly cultures and once that’s all down, get a few frogs!
Have you got a page or shop I can buy frogs from ? So if you've heard that question 1 thousand times ..
I am looking for a couple of frogs for a beginner if you have some let me know I have a complete set up short the food completed just waiting to find some frogs would like a pair if possible
Hello, what is the name of the small vine type plant that is seen growing in most the video? Been looking for a small broad leaf vine type plant for my tanks, and the one I'm asking about looks perfect in size. Thank you for the time spent making the video and any answers on that plant!
Wild west garden pretty sure your talking about marcgravia... I have multiple species of marcgravia in my tanks, marcgravia umbelatta stays pretty small
@@TroyGoldberg Just looked that up and you nailed it, thank you!
Do you by any chance sell dart frogs?
Would you recommend the green sip as a first frog?
Sips are tincs they are a great learning frog.
may I ask why you don't have Ranitomeyas? Is the size an extra hassle or do you simply not enjoy them as much? I'm asking because I eyeballed uacarii golden legs as my very first frogs.
SilkMilkJilk great question lol, I’ve had them in the past, they’re just not for me, too shy, and too fast lol, I barely saw them when I had them, and when I did see one, it would dart off so freaking fast lol....
@@TroyGoldberg Ah I see. Which ones would you put on a similar call-noise level, when the Ranitomeyas are a 3 and terribilis and santa isabel are more around 8? Since I have to fish for tiny bits of information my scale might be a little off, apologies^^
SilkMilkJilk well all oophaga are up around 8 as well... Pumilio is a higher pitched faster call than, histo and Sylvatica, theirs Is much deeper pitched and a little slower. Leucomelas have a nice call id say lies right about at a 6
@@TroyGoldberg that's all great info, thanks mate!
I'm a snake guy but I love other species too so I have much fun with your video and your cool collection. The first frog (bullseye) and the last are my favourites 😁
Greetings from Frankfurt /Germany
Question... Would you recommend tinctorius green sip for a beginner ?
sure! Tinctorius are a great beginner species, and Green Sips are a fantastic example of tincs!!
Troy Goldberg
Many thanks keep up the great videos
I would love to know how much you are getting for these frog. Also what is the rarest frog you own
jesse schmitt it varies between species and morph, the yellow lehmanni id say are my rarest
how do you get the moss to grow like that? nothing grows in my vivs, even though I have constant high humidity and high-end LED lighting ...
Daniel Jehle what kind of moss are you using?
@@TroyGoldberg i bought a moss mixture to mix with water and then apply on the background. it's been months and no growth
Daniel Jehle that’s probably why, the moss Mix’s arent the easiest to grow, they work well on hygrolon backgrounds as long as it stays wet( need wet, not humid) I would try getting some java moss, it’s the easiest to grow in a viv in my opinion... just keep it wet for like 2 weeks then you’re good
@@TroyGoldberg ok, thanks alot!
Do u not have a website where I can purchase any of your dart frogs? Or view.
No website
hi troy
do you have any ready to sale
Where did you get the redhead histrionicas? And do you breed them? I want some bad.
Also, holy crap you have a lot of frogs I only dream of having.
I got them from a friend a while back, Yes i breed them, should have some available in a few months, tads in the water right now
@@TroyGoldberg do you ship or local pick up
Awesome video.....what type of begonia is that in with the luc's
MrPoohbae1000 both!
MrPoohbae1000 I believe what’s you see in the video, is some young sizemorei
After a year and a half I found myself with a lot of tads and the realization that I need a froggy abortion program. My azureus won't stop.
Whats the name of the short plant that grows on every vivarium ground??
jb2002 you’re either talking about the dwarf baby years, or marcgravia
Oh ok, i didn't realise it was baby tears! Thanks
2:19
Do you need a new habitat or every type of frog? or can you keep all of them in one habitat?
If you plan on keeping different locales and morphs, it’s best to keep them separate from each other
@@TroyGoldberg Thanks for responding. Also, how do you build a wall of tanks like that?
Bakers racks
Do you sell them
How many PDF can i put in a 48x30x24
Colera Mazer it depends on species and set up

hi im in the middle of building my first terrarium for some darts are you from the uk
Pete Norman no I’m from Ohio USA
Fair enough i got a 90cm 45cm 90cm terrarium after some lights witch will give good plant growth and reach the bottom any you can suggest
Thats what she said...
Could you do a vid on what plants you plant your vivs with, what's your favourite, what do the frogs like?
Already did.... browse through my channel
How come you don't breed any thumbnails? Just wondering.
I breed Ranitomeya highland sirensis lol
@@TroyGoldberg I'd love to see them in a video bro. Im into growing corals but just last year got back into dart frogs again after like 15 years. My oh my how far the dart frog hobby has come. Your one of the first dartfrog CZcamsrs I started watching and stealing ideas from. I just went out and got some drylok to do a new vivarium build. I appreciate your vivarium tutorials. They help a lot. Oh and those sirensis are definitely on my list. Would be awesome if I was able to get one from you.
Is there a way to not have babies
Do you have Instagram or anything? Would like to ask you a few questions about different frogs
Lol watch til the very end of the video silly...
Oh goodness I'm sorry lol I watched this on my lunch at work so I didn't make it to the end! So so sorry!
