Both Patterson and Johansson were genuinely really and truly nice guys, especially Patterson, but Ingo was right there. Really different from todays jackasses!
Two of the last true classic gentlemen in boxing, if you don’t count Joe Frazier and George Foreman. And they became very close friends after the rubber match in 1961.
