Extraordinary coincidence: about half an hour after I saw this video (for the first time) a news alert popped up saying Angela Lansbury had died.

May claim a title here. I only had to pause this 5 times due to the whole not being able to hear it due to my own crying with laughter. That means with the subsequent rewinding (20 seconds each time) it only officially took me 100 extra seconds to watch. I mean it took about a collective 12 minutes to stop the laughing, but who’s counting… Brilliant!
This man's mind is flawless. What brilliant writing. An absolute genius!
To be fair he has other writers on the show. About 6 or 8 of them. How much they do and how much he does, I don't know.

I saw two of his weekly rehearsal gigs in 2019 where he ran through the jokes for this show. He had his writing pad and a pen, told the joke and noted the response. Same with the monologues.
It was a fascinating insight. As well as witheringly funny and thought-provoking.
And his old articles in The Guardian were basically these monologues in written form.
I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them is Jimmy Carr, they regularly write for each other

Thank you! Every time I say this some little Michael macintyre or ricky gervais simp goes off at me how they're better than Frankie. For me Frankie is intelligent and finds a way to fuse humour with real world events and not stupid jokes about being British.

I've always wondered what other comedians are thinking while they are sitting there watching Frankie. It would be like Fergie, Ke$ha, and Ashlee Simpson having to sit and watch/listen to Freddie Mercury or Adele.
