HI! Watching from the Philippines

When she says “hard on your tummy” she means getting farty. Garbanzo beans will turn you into a rocket ship. Next stop, the moon!
Garbonzo beans are my fave. There's no digestive problems for me, but I've been an a search my whole life, for what I can digest. I have serious problems, but right now, I'm having a good time enjoying beans. Start slow, and don't go back to your old ways, or you will have to start all over.
Man what an awesome conversation ☺️ I love these answers. I feel so empowered 💪 by this information, especially when others questioned me so much about this. At one point I doubt it myself but I understand nutrition and I make the connection. ❤❤
Broccoli stem pickles! I have to try that one
This was great !!! Hope to see them on your podcast soon !!!
1st time live too 😊You guys are awesome 👏
Watching and *introducing The Doc & Chef LIVE at VegFest 2023* was epic. I'm enjoying the produced episodes is even better because I can rewind 📺 👍🏼
Awesome show!!
Use stainless, I noticed it cleans up easier without oil
Thanks Chuck and your lovely guests,
That looks delicious 🤤
Love u guys! 🎉❤
Thanks
23:04 .. as a Mexican this made me laugh too hard 😂
LOL
Where can we find the recipe for the smoothie? Thank you!
I'm vegan and recently had a bone density test. My spine improved and hip remained the same. The report from the hospital rec commended taking calcium & d3. But I'm not going to take calcium. Haven't in 20 years. Any comments? Btw I wont take another bone density at least for 5 years. Feedback appreciated!
Don't forget targeting the areas to increase density with weights. There are exercises that can help target the spine & hip.. Machines/ devices in the gym help
Greens have calcium, esp kale
Poppy seeds, black sesame seeds and blackstrap molasses have a lot of calcium, I would have at least one of them every day.😊 I know that a lot of people are afraid of poppy seeds because of the opioid content but it is safe, there is a huge difference in medical grade and food grade. I have them on a regular basis from childhood because its Hungary's national food and i am fine haha.
If you have not already, take a little look at vitamin K2 (MK7 & MK4). If you are not in the sunshine every day, then a small dose of Vitamin D3 is also worth considering.
@@budte yes I take 5k iu d3 w k2. I'm now thinking that this might also be why my bone density improved. It actually improved 5.7%.
Wow Jim is a cool guy. ❤
Chuck, you can't call someone a "beaner" @23:06 😂 Great show though!
Yeah this is a racialized insult, let’s not use it.
Hi, where do I find the recipe for the cheese dip and smoothie?
Is there a link for the website?
As a vegan I adore you all and your work.
When she says the recipes are up on the website...where??
Im on my third week of being vegan. And i feel great.there. Lot of food you can eat.
I have a gluten intolerance.. always breakout in hives or rash.. no gluten, no issues
Cayrn kept saying its on the website. Which website?
What about chosen foods avocado oil cooking spray? It says zero calories. Is this ok for cooking?
Read the fine print. If a "serving size" is 0.5gm or less they are allowed to call it zero fat. A serving size is "1 spray, about 1/3 second" which is almost impossible to do. I can't.
Y’all are the best 🤩
Where are the recipes?
What about kidney beans instead of black beans
Where are the recipes? Didn’t see them?
Turmeric.......not tumeric
And how is the body going to process the glyphosphate that conventional wheat is sprayed with before harvest? It can't be good for us to consume. Asking for a friend.
I'm trying to get back plant based. I love broccoli and spinach and they are the majority of my green intake. Should I be worried about kidney stones? What is the limit I should place on them?
Drink Water
Read up on oxalates and limit them! Sally K Norton has a book…
A potassium rich diet ought to prevent kidney stones. I supplement by adding it, along with magnesium, to water.
Cheese Whiz is catnip to me...
Is nutritional yeast inflammatory, thanks
I hope
Not I love it! British HCPs encourage its use. I believe the US food industry adds many nasties to everyday foods
I'm always in some sort of pain. Is that inflammation?
Most likely yes.
👍👍👍

I have gingivitis and will pass @ least 10 years before I will lose all my teeth so I'm in the inflammatory mood every day until then so any idea how to deal with????
I wouldn't do keto long term.
When did time become serving size? 😂
400, 600, or 800 calories from the oil you coat a pan with? You only need 1 T. of oil if that to coat a pan, really just 1/2 T. like this channel, but this is a crazy thing to say.
What we need to do is soak the beans
Sorry, that chocolate shake does not look tasty lol
10:30 "(Dairy and cheese are the number one source of things of saturated fat) and saturated fat in of itself is high in omega-6s..."
Saturated fat is high in omega-6s? That makes no sense! 🤨
Tired of hearing olive oil and avocado are unhealthy foods. FYI: They're not.
Keto for me. No hunger! Inflammatory markers are minimal!. Are you guys all 7th day Adventists or what? Are you aware of low carby , moderate protein , and hgh fat diets in the treatment of refractory childhood epilepsy. Are you aware that keto was advocated as a treatment for DM before many meds were developed. Are you familiar with Ben Bikman, Phd and his work? Or the works of David Ludwig, MD?
How is your cardiac calcium score ?
Did keto raised my cholesterol so high so stopped
Probably high cholesterol is NOT a problem if your TG/HDlL ratios are good. Multiple doctors believe what I am saying. Some do not. See Paul Mason's videos or Ken Berry's. The cholesterol theory as the cause of heart disease is being increasingly proven to be incorrect!
Yeah, for now. Wait a couple of years and your cholesterol and inflammation will be sky high. It happened to me.
@@nancyd7441 hi my cac score is zero and cimt (carotid scan) is zero. What’s yours?
Chickpea flour you make omelets out of it
Thanks
