I married the wrong man. All of the red flags were there. Sometimes we think we can fix the person but we can't. Always listen when you hear from God.

This is true. I almost married the wrong person. I was so convinced that I started planning the wedding. Then God started revealing the truth. He gave me dreams that showed me the other person was a liar. Thank you Lord for showing me the truth. I still stayed longer than I should have. Ladies when it’s time to go, GO and don’t look back!
Sis this is me I almost married the wrong person too. Thank God one week after I was proposed to I saw all the red flags. It takes wisdom from God to unveil a mask. Some people hide their mask very well. A narcissist will never admit to their wrongs.Honestly felt like an idiot wearing a ring all those time but God protected me from the unbearable.

Amen! Amen! When my husband proposed to me, I went straight to God because I didn't trust me. I knew that he wouldn't send me someone that would separate me from him! I was 23 years old when we married. This October 2021 will be 40 wonderful years that we've been together. We still enjoy each other and Jesus! been together!

This is such an on time word! I ended my engagement 3 months ago. My ex fiancé was a good guy, but a broken man and did not know Christ. I had hoped he would become a believer before we married but The Holy Spirit told me “NO”. I have faith that The Lord is preparing my husband for me and he will find me in the fullness of time. Let me tell you ladies: being sexually pure really helps to keep your mind sharp and open to God’s guidance. It also helps protect your heart if for some reason the relationship has to end.
Not being sexual when you meet someone is a plus to our discernment or intuition. If I don’t want to give them the passcode to my phone in 30 days of meeting. I definitely don’t want to have sex within 30days either. Keep sharp and stay strong. God will definitely send you the right one.
Soul ties are much more than just having sex with the person. 🙌🏽🙏🏽

He didn’t really know CHRIST neither, there were red flags but I insisted... especially when the HOLY SPIRIT said No. We fought constantly about staying sexually pure. @@KingdomKid23 Yes!! Soul ties is an extremely important thing people tend to forget or don't know about. There is a transfer of demons through sexual contact between two people who are not married. That is one way a person can be controlled and tracked in the spirit (witches and warlocks do that mess). It's a very ugly thing. I saw the way it affects people first hand. I saw one end up in a psych ward, another one got sick and died and I've seen plenty people have things going on in their life and not know what's going on. The only way to get rid of the demons that transferred is to fully surrender to God and ask Him for deliverance. The Church really needs to talk about it so people will take abstinence more seriously.
1.Do not ignore Red flags.
2.It takes Wisdom, if the engagement breaks off.
3.God will create distance between you two.

Everyone is not the same. God may be using you to help the other person with their weakness. It's not always looking for a perfect person when God knows no one will ever be perfect because we all are filthy rags in his eyes.. Relationships/marriage is about toleration. If you can tolerate being with someone who you can help overcome a weakness, you are precious than a diamond 💎.

This was affirmation for me, I thought I wanted to marry this man so bad and I asked God to guide me in the way he wanted me to go. He showed me this person was going to do the same thing, we broke up and I moved to another city! It hurts but I thank God because I know he will provide what’s best for me 🙏🏽

I broke up with this guy he claimed he was so in love with me it wasn’t mutual I told him it’s a blessing you will understand later.When someone breaks out the relationship or ghosts us they’re really actually doing us a favor ,because sometimes we are on able to let go ,so they make the choice for us. I'm sorry to say, God does not *necessarily break off the relationship in the true sense of breaking it* off; once He has exposed the truth about the relationship through dreams/visions or people He sent to help mentor you, He expects you to be obedient and take the next step in breaking away. However, most Christians are not obedient in this area; they sometimes even keep on challenging God to do everything Himself. We see in the OT how Solomon still went on marrying the wrong women after he was warned. We also know about the consequences. God bless you.
He (God) does help to break up engagements or relationship that could cause harm to us in future. God did that for me after he showed me things about my future with my supposed husband

I don’t think it’s the wrong time. What happens is that God shows us, and we have to wait on him. We have to be realistic as well the enemy has Jezebel spirits holding Godly men. I heard a testimony where a man knew who his wife, but she was in the world so he prayed. And now there happily married.. Everyone needs to keep there eyes on the Lord and not limit him ♥️. Trust him!!
I have a child with my ex and we have a great friendship, we are great at co-parenting, much love for each other, but I know right now he is not the man for me.
Pray for peace in my mind, I worry and think too far in the future of what it’s going to look like if God has a different man for me-

Once I started to love myself and heal from the past I talked to God and spoke to Him that "I am lonely and to prepare me for my husband and prepare my husband for me". I noticed a past relationship came forward. A person I knew at 16 that I cared for deeply. It was always on again off again for years. 8 years of seperation. The guy has transformed spiritually and I see the love of God in him. I believe that in the past we weren't at a spiritual level together in order for it to work. I trust God in the process. He wants what is best for us always.
Thank you. I was so sad about it not working out with a guy one time and I was crying at the altar. There was someone who was praying for me and he said, God has been protecting you. That really comforted my heart that God knew everything I was going through.

How did God give you both a second chance?
Me and my Ex girl were having some real major problems for the past 4 years. I was fed up, drained and depleted in every way. However there was a deep emotional connection we had. I told myself that I’d marry her if we could make it through the next year (2020). I asked God to give me a sign. Well a few weeks later, this girl dropped a bomb on me so major, and dropped more and more in a 2 month period, the relationship couldn’t logically exist. The foundation of it buckled. Nothing could be rebuilt on it.
Praying for you...I know it’s a blessing to be free of that, but I know emotionally there’s still a lot to go through. I’ve been there, and the Lord truly does provide and comfort in His infinite wisdom :)

I also think God works to separate people by bringing about a spirit of enmity in the wrong person for no apparent reason. This can be hurtful and confusing, but that is a clear sign to move on.

Why is it taking so long for me to find the "right" person. Because my Dad didn't give me any advice or counsel in the courtship / dating a woman. I have had to figure it out on my own my whole life which has been unsuccessful. Then as year after year went by it become more and more uncommon for me to have any possible interactions with a single Christian woman. I saved my virginity until I was 31 when my ex-fiancée took my virginity/I gave in and gave that to her. I have never had sex since her but for years now I have burned with a unfulfilled passion. It's ok thoe... we continue to fight the good fight for God's glory and the strengthening of our relationship with Him. I didn't get to have any interactions with a single Christian woman last year but maybe this year I will find God's favor. Cheers and God bless

I appreciate you mentioning the relationship "tension" that can occur before the marriage when you said you and your now husband broke up. It's SO true that you'll just "know." "Know" is a weird feeling, and it's also a scary feeling, not in a bad way but in an intimidating way. I'm 37 and the day I met him, something about him "felt" different. Got to know one another through mutual circles and serving together. We had so much in common and had physical attraction. It really doesn't take much to choose. What protected me was my godly counsel, because it was through that counsel that told me to wait on God for 1 year when we broke up. I think it's hard for anybody to wait on God but it's better once He continues to break off and build you up for what is needed once He approves of the marriage. God comes first, and it's a decision, sometimes every second of the day. What a wonderful Father we have!
