- Windows95man takes part in Finland’s Contest for New Music (UMK) 2024 with his song “No Rules!”, featuring Henri Piispanen. This track is the artist's first single and a party banger that opposes unnecessarily restrictive rules.
Finland's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen during a live UMK final broadcast on February 10 at 9 PM at Nokia Arena, Tampere. The show will be broadcast by Yle TV1, Yle Areena, YleX, Yle Radio Suomi, and Yle X3M.

It's like using a 2 gigabyte video as your windows background nowadays.

This song saved my life....... Back in 1997, I lost my job, then my girlfriend decided to leave me for my best friend. That's when the real problems started. Alcohol, drugs, casual sex. One night I was walking alone through the park and took my Nokia 3110 out of my pocket to check the time..... As I was putting it back into my pocket, just for a few seconds the screen light shone on the pavement, and I saw an old broken cassette lying abandoned. I picked it up and put it in my Sony walkman, and the first song that came was "No rules"...... That was the moment I realised I don't have to live my life seeking someone's acceptance and judge myself based on what anyone else says. I started to feel a desire for freedom and self-love, and decided to give myself a new start. I will never forget that moment and will always be grateful to Windows95man for this song. It always will be special to me.
Word. I had a similar life changing event happen already in 1996, I had saved my new manuscript on a floppy disk and dropped it on a crowded bus. A few days later Windows95man's No Rules started playing on radio and I went out to check my mail. There was my floppy disk. A true miracle.
