12 time Eagles are not overstable. Fairly neutral. 2022 Barsby Glow Champ Eagle is where its at. They are a flat top slower slightly less stable Sexton Firebird.
the opposite for me though
I had a 12x champ eagle and that fucker was overstable then got a star eagle and that thing was money
Soooo......they're nothing like a sexton firebird then. Lol.
I left mine on hole 18 after my first glow round. Whoever found a twice thrown barsby eagle and didn't call me, you're welcome :(
@@ericpfaff3900 In the same way a vroc is nothing like a roc? Discs can have differences and still be similar.
I think the Eagle was the first Distance Driver that was -1/3. So to me it is the prototype to all other modern distance drivers. The Teebird, Eagle, and Firebird changed the game forever and are still staples in everyone's bag (even if they don't know it yet).
this is my home course and having watching you for a while it’s been so cool to see you move to denver and play all the local courses around here. love the vids keep up the good work.
My favorite are flat color glow teebird3’s. Like the Votum seems to do for you, they just come out of my hand beautifully and do exactly what I want!
I bag an etherial Votum with that same stamp. I absolutely love that disc.
Thanks for the Video!
I bag two Votums, a glow and Aura, and threw Champion Eagles for years. I'm loving the Votum. Glow is definitely more stable, and Aura is a straight shooter for me.
It was cool running into you on Saturday! I wanted to see the full 18! Also thanks to your friend that game me the mini.
for sure! Another 9 will be on my second channel sometime this week or next with a different challenge!
Seems cool. I bought a Construct hoping for a Neutral to slightly understable 10 speed and have been very happy with it. It is pretty reliable still and the plastic, I think Aura, feels great. Love the TSA stamps
I like the Construct as well - great hand feel. However, the flight changes dramatically depending on plastic. Aura is slightly understable, Ethos flies like a Discmania C-line PD, and Ethereal is somewhere in between.
That’s my home course my best has been -6 on 18 you’re killing it bro
Just bought a coalesce yesterday. Looking forward to throwing it. Maybe this weekend after this Denver weather cooperates lol
Love my Votums. Usually have an Ethereal and Glow in the bag.
About time you bring out the eagle 😠😘
Seems like most of Innova’s champ stuff this year is more gummy and understable than in the past.
I noticed you held your breath on that last putt to keep the votum perfect
I've been loving the Votum. At first, I thought it would be a good replacement for the tee bird (based on given flight numbers😂), but finding it is not quite as stable.
Auto generated subtitles just told I’m watching the latest episode of ‘Baguette or Bennett’ - snappy name!
thank you, make sure you choose your pastry wisely!
@@BodanzaDiscGolf I’m choosing the Innova Pig and the Clash Discs Salt for my baguette.
#TeamBeignets
This would make for a great stamp.
I bag both an 11X Climo Eagle L and X. The E-L is money for straight and turnover shots, it's basically mini Destroyer, whereas the E-X is my go-to stable fairway driver.
One of my favourite discs, I LVOE this thing for straight forhands
Metal flake Votum is my baby once my backhand power gets better I’m gonna be carving up the woods with it
those tee pads tho... absolutely beautiful
The eagle is iconic because it was the first disc ever. And if you want the best version of an eagle you gotta get an 11x L mold. Those are perfection
The Aero was the Eagle. Not sure when the name was changed but probably just before they rebranded the Eagle as a Distance Driver.
@@chrisrhome6638 innovas website says it was the eagle
@@tikimurtaugh4919 The disc is now called the Aero. It was originally named the Eagle.
It's funny I bag an ethereal votum and compared it to an eagle when my friends ask about it. My votum rides anny very well even slight ones better than an eagle but just as stable thrown flat or on hyzer. Fits right in between my hokom crave and seasoned resistor
You gotta try the resistor! It’s 6.5 speed that you can forehand
If you're looking for a 7 speed that's good for a forehand, I'd suggest an dd evader. Very forgiving
Wow, you can land a Cessna 172 on those tee pads....nice!
Votums in my personal experience are actually somewhat flippy. TSA flight numbers are off on most discs though. Typicallly more turn than the numbers suggest. Except the Synapse. The Synapse is a glideless Destroyer
Stability is super dependent on the type of plastic for TSA.
For whatever reason I find the dx eagle to be the perfect fairway for tight wooded courses. Easy to get to different shapes, hyzer to flat lazer beam, hyzer to flex. Doesn't need a lot of power. Too bad the plastic doesn't hold up.
I tried some star eagles and theyre just totally different. I think the most discs I have gotten are those 7 speed understable fairways like river, soda in a desperate attempt to find a premium dx eagle replacement.
I've found the same thing. I had an older pat #s swirly star eagle that I was just beating in to see some turn when someone stole it :( now I'm throwing Infinite Exodus's (Eagle-L mold) in various plastics and it works but it just doesnt move around quite like a dx Eagle.
Those kicks are sweet dude! What are you rocking for footwear?
Thoughts on the MVP Resistor? Similar flight numbers to these but from my experience they are a little less teebird and a little more firebird.
I have one in Eclipse 2.0 plastic and it's a lot beefier than even my Champ Teebird. The one I have in Neutron plastic is about the same as my Star Teebird - very stable, but no meathook.
@@NickCarroll I think you might have one from the weird run that came out a couple years ago. Apparently they were less stable than intended. My neutron resistor is still pretty beefy. Definitely more overstable than my brinster champ Teebirds. You are right though, the eclipse version is extra beef. 🥩 The neutron is quickly becoming a favorite for me as I come across a lot of 260-290ft overstable shots in my neck of the woods. It is flat top fairway driver goodness that fills a void between my FAF gator and my firebird.
The Eagle is my most favorite disc of all time. I don’t know if any disc could take it’s place tbh.
Those tee pads are freakin' massive.
A plane could take off from those tee pads, unreal
just SLIGHTLY too small for James Conrad
the gigantic teepads look like a dream
I agree. I can't stand when courses have tiny teepads. It's worse than no teepad at all.
Better eagle???? You got my click.
In my personal experience, the full color star eagles have a little bit more of a finish and have a little more glide to them. The flights I can get with a little wear on them are incredible. Color glow barsbys have the most turn for me. Stoked about the millennium vela when production gets going.
Barsby eagles are the best eagles, the new vela from millennium is money and I think they’re same mold as the barbsy runs
MVP makes thought space?
try glory
Denver disc golf courses seem boring AF
The vegetation will spruce up in a month or 2. Also, I'm sure he will venture into the foothills or mountains which is very nearby and you will see awesome courses if you like wooded courses and level changes on holes. Lots of the top courses across the front range are more bomber courses. 500 foot par 3s. There is reason all the top pros from Colorado throw very far.
Local Denver player here. Can conquer Denver disc courses are hyzerfests. People travel here all the time and leave dissatisfied
I'm going to say that he probably picked the course for the follow flights
Please start the tournament coverage again
whenever I play I will. Not playing tournaments until may
@@BodanzaDiscGolf good choice. Playing tournaments in the rain and cold is not the greatest feeling haha. And playing in those conditions with bad footing can actually hurt form.
Biggest tee pads I’ve ever seen in my life
Colorado disc golf looks like it sucks... You should have moved to Ga lol. I still really like your videos, I just wish they were on good courses.
playing mountain courses soon and others. Denver metro courses aren't great, but will be playing the best courses in the area in the next months as I get a new car instead of van
