The dragon-slayer becomes the dragon. Create unique builds without having to grind for equipment. After defeating a dungeon boss, you will take its place. Then, defeat your past selves to descend further into the dungeon.

The thought of you having to beat your own big number funny broken builds is golden. Hope you play more of this.
This was one of the funniest parts of automon, although sometimes the builds are too stupid to beat haha.
It's funny but terrible design lol. Imagine a player having a really OP build for w/e reason and then their next 10 runs they never beat it and never progress. Would be a terrible experience for the player. Just makes no sense at all besides it's funny lol.
Would need to be put at the end of progression so you are not stopping progress.

the only time I see a mechanic where you can fight your own op build done good is noita, where more often then not your own op wands and overconfidence kills you so giving that to an enemy is more or less fair-ish.
and said enemies is a rare enemies, meaning you don't fight it every run.

Having your last win be the boss is a fun concept, this game has some promise for sure.
I think bear form says " Transform into a bear and increase attack and max health by +35%. The druid set bonus also affects yourself. You can only perform physical attacks. Lasts 15 seconds."
I've played a decent amount of this game. I got to 60 with one character and beat it, but then I couldn't beat it several times and had to delete my save. I love this game. It's a balancing act to make good builds to get through the dungeon but also being wary of what you beat the boss with. Your next character you run through becomes a boss every 15 levels. It is sooo good. Anyways, thanks for checking it out.
Oh... you can upgrade your skills another time. If you get 3 good skills it will upgrade into a master skill and then when you play it you get a gold skill from it.
I've been watching Haelian play this and really enjoyed those videos; really glad to see Reto play this as well - it's janky asf and that adds to its charm!

You can merge 3 golden into 1 legendary btw. Oh and also, was it playable for you without having to fiddle with anything? I bought it, saw the main menu fine, but just got a black screen when trying to start a run. Had to refund, couldn't play :/

Very cool to see this! I've been thinking about developing a similar game for a long time, combining ARPG+Autobattler genres, but as a big PoE fan I would focus more on the ARPG aspects (unique items, talent trees, customizing how skills behave, etc) instead of autobattler aspects (synergies, drafting/rerolling, freezing shops)
I really enjoy the autobattler mechanics but I'd love something similar to what you described.

I think that cast on hit linked the right spell to the left spell, which belonged to the golem, so your character couldn't cast it anymore.
I wonder if putting the spike spell on the left and the golem on the right would summon golems or if they'd need to be off cooldown.

Creating a broken build just to find out you, without prompt or warning, without choice nor retreat options. Need to beat them in order to advance further in the game. Is a sadistic comedy that I am now here for. GG game creator
Now that I think about it. Imagine if this concept was added to other games. Communities have to beat player made bosses and can share seeds. And end up with ridiculously Over powered challenges .
@@Thedarkravern Let it Die does this. Never played the game, but it basically is a Souls Like that some times you'll find dead players' beaten characters on a floor and ya, some times they're overpowered as hell.

It works quite well. I'm currently stuck at stage 45, can't beat my build but there is a thin line between motivating and frustrating.
Golems are limited to 2. Elf are not. So in theory, you could summon elfs that summon elfs who summon more elf with a set 5 cards.
And then never progress past ever

I think the UI is meant to evoke Diablo Immortal's aesthetic and maybe even slightly mocking it with how ridiculous it looks.

With the cast on hit, it's very clear you've not played much Path of Exile. I don't mean that in a mean way, but it's intuitive to me in the way that the auto battler stuff is from playing auto chess and the like.

i think if you bestow golem summon to frost elf it more broken since frost elf have short life and when they spawn they immediately summon frost golem who in there for 30sc imagine infinite golem army

i boaght this game almost immediatly when i saw this video, but the game is compltely unplayably bugged for me, like the character is just huge beyond fitting on the screen, i can see the card menu fairly normally but once i click start game i just hear combat noises and see infinite "evasion" prompts come up on the screen, getting stuck in that combat screen. any1 else tried and has simular problems?

@@KidBacom this didnt work for me, however later it auto fixed it self, im assuming a patch idk
I tried this out and the game is interesting but there are so many cards that have cooldowns that are faster than you cast so you don't actually play cards from left to right you only play left. For example a card that has a 0 sec cooldown just plays itself over and over again without moving to the next card. Frustrating to build something off of that concept.
Well, then you put that in the furthest right most slot, right?
So it only plays when everything is off cool down.
@Isaac Wakefield yeah but if you have 2 items that have a 0 second cool down it never plays the 2nd item. Unless I was mistaken but I am pretty sure that was the case.
@@JamesGrinch 0 CD cards basically replace your auto attack. Just don't take 2 of those and if you do, leave it in your hand.
