Do you think you hold a lot of trauma in your hair? Is that why you cut it. Whenever a stylist flat iron the ends of my hair, it is so painful. She’s like how do you feel that, the ends of your hair. I know it has to be trauma. My hair is not as healthy as yours, but I’m still afraid to cut and I wear wigs so why not 🤦🏾‍♀️😞. Sorry for the rant. Btw this video was so emotional 😢 You look great. TFS❤

It's ok lol But I explained it a bit in the video. I cut my hair because I felt like I was holding onto a lot of dead weight and I was looking for a lot of clarity on how to move on from things, a fresh start and starting to take care of myself more. My hair was one of the main things that I never really took care of and by me cutting my hair I felt like it was a way for me to start taking care of something that was new, which then reflected me starting to take on and care for a lot of new things I was asking God for.
I hope this makes sense lol. It was also very easy for me to cut my hair and start over because I often have my hair covered up anyway so me cutting it wouldn't make a difference but I want that to change. I want to be able to start wearing my natural hair out more once it grows back and is healthy!
