Buddhism is older than Hinduism. ,but it was practiced in roman and Egyptian times. Priests practiced in Egypt, thereafter it spread to Greece and Europe etc when Gautama became a monk he practiced under other monks in the Himalayas. He had a small amount of followers, it was only after he passed did Buddhism flourish, whuch was 2.700yrsnago. Vedic bramins were jealous of Buddhism and saw them as a treat. Hinduism took many scriptures from buddist monks and passed it off as their own.

Vedas and vedantas are the authortative texts in hinduism. That's the source of spiritual authority. And the knowledge of upanishads have been derived by Buddha. He himself did not want to make his following a religion. Ashoka the great did that after his death. If it wasn't for him buddhism would have been constrained within India. And also, many rulers adopting buddhism helped especially the Indo Greeks.

So, there is no link Islam & Hinduism to Buddha's teaching. It is completely pure. He is against animal killing and during his past lives, he willing die to make others happy. Buddha's core teaching about belief in reincarnation. That's mean human born again and again (samsara). To end this suffering (samsara) , they should reach nirvana. Stop spreading wrong statement that Buddha is related to Islam. Go and practise your own religion in correct way. Buddha said there is no god. So, don't waste time with Buddhism. Buddha's teachings only about self salvation. If u work hard, anyone can be pure man like Buddha in many life times.
