Full Guide: Leggett and Platt Prodigy Comfort Elite Setup

In this video, we explain how to setup the Leggett and Platt Prodigy Comfort Elite. Open the box and make sure you have all the parts. Cut and remove the zip tie that holds the retainer bar. Set the retainer bar aside for now. Install the legs by screwing the legs into the tap holds on the adjustable base corners. Uncoil the power cord and be careful not to pinch cord in any moving parts. Rotate the base over upright. Install the retainer bar at the foot of the bed if you want to use the retainer bar. Plug the powercord into power source and install the batteries in the remote. That is it for setting up the Leggett and Platt adjustable bed.

Can It be used without legs by placing on platform bed frame 🤔

the model year shown in this vid (2020 or older Comfort Elite) cannot, it must be elevated, including removing any slats or box springs; its motion system extends lower than the surrounding frame. You also can't put anything under it, you risk crushing what you put under and/or damaging the motion components.
They changed the Comfort Elite in 2021 to be 'zero clearance'; all components fit within its frame, so you CAN just drop it on a platform without any legs or spacers.
