Van life Chinese diesel heater error code 9

- Error code 9 sensor failure. I remove the sensor and fix the broken wire. Fault finding was helped by many people on Instagram, and good old google.
I wish I was still on Facebook as there appears to be a very good group on there too
This helped me solve my issue. I didn’t have a broken wire but after taking it apart to clean it I had put the sensor connector on wrong. While looking for a broken wire I noticed the connector issue. Thanks!

cammo1986 chinesium quality control at its finest. I can see they tried to use solder, but failed to attach the wires with it

I have this error. If I can fix this, I no longer need to keep buying propane which may skyrocket.
Yeah check the small thin wires going to the sensor, I couldn’t believe how rubbish the solder was on it
If you’ve been messing a belt with your diesel heater, then chances are the E9 code will be that you have the motor and the heat sensor plugged in to the wrong connectors.
Hi, I have the same problem but for me the wire is broken inside the sensor itself so I cannot fix it. Anybody knows where to buy these sensors? Or what Ohm they should read when working? Don't really want to buy a whole new heater because of a wire that broke.... :-(
Just googled diesel heater temperature sensor and a lot come up from websites & eBay that look the same / similar
Whats the resistance value of a good sensor?
Are you finding that you use the diesel heater more than the wood burner mate.
I haven’t had it long enough to see yet, however I think I may do, if it’s reliable enough. It is nice to just get in the van and just turn it on for almost instant heat.
If I park somewhere residential then it’s a no brainer to use it, however sometimes it’s just nice to have a fire. I can imagine the log burner will be for when I’m in the van of a daytime, the burner will be for when I’m asleep I think

I have to light candles for some sort of flame relief lol.
My diesel heater is ACE! It can be hard enough on the battery this time of year if I don't drive to charge it, that's the down side of it 😥
You did some searching on the Web? I sent you that error code list ya fraud 😂 How not to credit help from people and make out you sorted it yourself 🙄
Well thabkyou mr chilliman for your help, yes you indeed did help too, although these error code sheets seem to be hit and miss, found some saying error code 9 is the glow plug thankfully it wasn’t. Was just going to replace the whole sensor but thought I would check the solders on the wire. What a babe you are
@@BaronVonPrepper Too little too late. You're a glory thief. My sheet was correct which is why I sent it to you to help you which it did but you made out you sorted it by yourself which you didn't. Had it been the other way round I'd have been very thankful and made people aware of your help but that's me.
chilliman07 the video was shot pretty quick tbh, and like I showed you, I had already been sent that sheet when my heater arrived. There was a number of people that helped and none of them got a mention. So sorry I didn’t initially credit you, or anyone else for that matter and just said I googled it. I mean I got it half right as I did google a lot too, but yeah, have your moment, get your pants in a twist, block me or unfollow me or whatever makes you feel better 👍
