I have an interesting tip about getting a mini-fridge for your room. I used to travel to Vegas with friends and one of the girls in the group always told the front desk that she was breast-feeding/pumping and needed a fridge to store her milk in. She got a fridge every time with no extra charge. Free tip for the ladies. Haha

I will speak for myself on budget hotels. So far, I've stayed at Luxor and Bally's (right before it changed to horseshoe)i would stay at both again. But I highly prefered ballys location. You can't beat it. Also due to airline trouble, had to stay extra and stayed a few nights at flamingo and locations good, room wasn't bad but did prefer ballys. I don't like to waste a lot of money on hotel since i dont use the pool or hang in the room too much.

I am against valet parking also! I like finding the best parking spot, call me crazy. And walking is not so bad. Also, Weird Al RULES!
Speaking of which.... when I was there, there were **street vendors** trying to sell trips to the Grand Canyon! I'm sure some were legit, and equally sure some weren't....
I tried the $20 at the Bellagio, to no luck, but she passed the $20 back to me. One of the things I like about Vegas is the Energy. I just saw a video on how bad the OYO has become. I stayed there, the first time in Vegas, when it was Hooters. Have you been to the Dirty Dog in front of the Horseshoe?
Dirt Dog LA in front of the Horseshoe is really good (although quite pricey for a hot dog)

Honestly there isn't really a good "month" for hotel prices.. it really fluctuates based on events. So Monday and Tuesday one week could be more expensive than Saturday or Sunday if there's a big Convention in town

Hi Chris. We are a couple from Sweden flying to Vegas in September. We will stay 10 nights at Vdara. Is it a good choice?
We first thought of taking Aria but it was too expensive.
Hi Sanjo -- yeah. I think Vdara is decent. They just built a bridge from Vdara to Bellagio and Cosmopolitan so that helps alot!

The area between the strat and RW is used for outdoor concerts and festivals, car shows , exhibits etc. so I don't think they'll build there.

Resort fees are one of the biggest cons going, how are hotels allowed to get away with this? I've only ever seen them in USA. It's like they charge you for the basic amenities you get at every other hotel in the world.

If it’s not guaranteed with the 20! I’d rather put it in the slot machine you could make money or even if you lose you got to go something rather than just tip a looser that gets constantly tipped anyway !!!
