Convicted huntsman Will Goffe took the hounds into the elephant grasses between Knavenhill Cottages and Shennington Wood. A place Goffe knows full well that the hounds will pick up on the scent of a fox. Our team of foot sabs got into position and waited for the inevitable, a fox fleeing from the elephant grasses in their direction. It wasn’t long before the hounds in cry followed the path taken by the fox.
Sabs intervened by cracking whips and using voice commands to stop the hounds and move them away. Hunt stewards Brett and Sonja tried their hardest to prevent sabs from doing this to help the hounds kill the fox. However much like most things they have tried this season they failed completely. Brett once again demonstrated just how quickly he is willing to lie admitting that he’d seen the fox only to then claim moments later that there was no fox. Both Brett and Sonja attempted to create and engineer a situation by trying to get themselves hit by a whip, presumably so they could then go off crying about an assault, however sabs managed to keep the idiotic pair well back and out of the way.
As if deliberately putting his hounds into places where he knows the hounds will find a fox, Goffe then demonstrated his intentions even more by putting the hounds back on the line of the fox. Sabs once again had to intervene before Goffe gave up, gathered the hounds and packed up
