I find it interesting there's a left spin mode for the Ratchets for the possibility of Left Spin Blades.

Left spin is inevitable so I’m glad they didn’t isolate part compatibility

Probably the same as burst. Just locks in the opposite way.

Are you noticing a powdery white residue around the ledge part of the bit where the ratchet grabs onto?

this might have to do with rotating the bit while it is on the ratchet

It might also result from bursts where the bit is knocked out of the ratchet

The ratchet separates from the blade or the bit separates from the ratchet
