I've had a blast playing this map. The boss has a lot of mechanics relating to the fires, so there was a lot of management in keeping them all activate at the right timings. Him doing an action every 25% hp also meant I had to properly plan out how to kill him, and I always enjoy bosses like that
After hearing Caper done justice, Leonhardt also being a little shit is just *chef's kiss*.

I had a lot of fun with these mechanics. The types of bosses where every 25% hp they do some sort of skill are always my favourites.
In phase 2 every unlit fire gives Harold 35% damage reduction, and makes him do 1 extra nuke attack whenever he loses 25% hp. He also picks out the 2 closest fires to him and deletes them every 30 seconds or so. I had to ensure that all of them where lit up and the most convenient ones where targeted for deletion at all times, which meant trying to make the most out of April and the 5dp flints. Stuff like the couple of seconds after a fire goes out where you can't attack them and the 30 second redeploy per flint meant there was more planning than other bosses, as I could not afford to have Harold do more than 1 nuke. He can do his fire deletion while preparing his nukes and just screw you over which is pretty funny.

But probably might be one of the most important welfare cause welfare niche players wouldn't worry anymore about elemental damage, and so do feline niche player 😊

Harold also isn't really that weak? His performance puts him roughly on par with the berries, and they're both fine if you don't have Eyjalter. He's just... unnecessary. Because Honeyberry is free.
@@RevyaAeinsett welfare ops means unit that you can only get from an event in-game aside from the main story either completely for free just by simply playing the game without the need to make any in-game purchase with real money at all
Thus because Honeyberry featured in red cert shop and not an event, she's not considered as welfare, meanwhile scene, erato and tuye are considered as one because you can buy them in previously contingency contract event

@@drsnorlax_felineknights hm i don't know chief, you obtain scene and others by buying them from the shop with the currency you earn from doing cc stages(which are originaly an event but the main game still has rotaiting cc maps you can get same currency from) and red cert shop operators are the same with the difference that stages are just part of the base game. You can even say that it also kinda has rotation since the cert stage is only availible few days on the week. The difference just seems practicaly non existent to me. I'd even say that red cert ops are more welfare since there's no limit how much red certs you can farm and cc currency being mostly limited to the event's with no reruns

I noticed that whenever an event mechanic is somewhat annoying you throw Kroos at it and it stops breathing real fast
After what happened with Fang she's gotten REALLY quick with dealing with stuff.
the boss deals high physical damage when blocked/ melee instead of arts damage, both cn and global server don't have that information in the enemy description in game, had to look up prts wiki just to see that info, makes me wonder why tf they don't just say it in game

I just started building all the Cautus, I spent some time attempting this stage and couldn't even find an opening for the stage

Should've believed in the best Glorified Vanguard, Rope. But yes lack of Vanguard is something that makes this niche more fun for me, I like coming up with openings.

Probably because he's out of range from Ansel healing off skill
That's so that he can recapture furnaces. If you put him at the bottom, he will only keep it burning until boss captures it and then he won't be able to lit it up as you need to be near burning furnace to capture unlit one.
It wouldn't do anything, Harold keeps taking the fire an so I need someone to keep relighting it. When Krooster isn't deployed the fire wouldn't keep anyone warm either so it's not like I need it up most of the time.
Do you think Ayerscape's s1 is better and has more use than his s2?
Not necessarily. If you're playing something like Bunny only where Ayers is an op you're forced to bring to most maps then yeah you bring S1 as a generalist skill to use him as a pseudo aoe guard. Like in this clear the role Ayers did could've been replaced by most guards it's just I don't have access to most guards. S2 is the one that brings out his best strengths, as it allows him to do a lot of damage to a lot of enemies if you set it up right. Of course S1 does have the bonus of slowing down enemies which I've used before as well.
Basically if you're an Ayers fan who want to use him in as many maps as possible then S1 is the skill you use most of the time.

Not sure why he's not double nuking you ever, that was actually pretty annoying to deal with when I played. I guess it's tied to invisible cycles which is just great design, maybe I should never read the game's own useless boss descriptions and instead double down on pure observation.
the amount of nukes is tied to the amount of unlit heaters, it’s the Vapor Rain skill in the boss description. so 0 unlit heaters is 1 attack, 1 is 2 attacks, etc.
