When I first started Bunnies I thought Rope was just going to be this mid operator who only gets used if I need to spam ground operators. I was wrong. She ended up being just as valuable as the rest of my ground ops due to her being my only vanguard and her dodge making her real tanky. And this clear shows just how truly versatile you can force her to be.

#Arknights FC-8 Bunny Only 5 Ops Since I don't have any way to stall Ebola, I had to go full on Unga Bunga. I only had 4 hits on her in both phases before she brought up her shield and just became invulnerable, which forced Sora for maximum damage. Final set of enemies just requires a bit of Guardmiya Dodges

That is so cool Stalling with Rope for the kill gate on phase 2 so that Eblana has no mobs to get her shield. That is brilliant! I never knew that rope could cancel her auto attack with her skill activation like that. Does this work with pushers as well? or is this Rope specific thing?
if the operator use skill but there is no valid target, the skill will not be used but it also cancels the auto attack not sure about the specifics, but i think most of hookmaster can do it (the most famous one was the Gladiia attack cancel in CC#9 Risk 38 with S3), and very specific cases like Cutter S1 (when the enemy is behind her)
so it is like Gladiia and the eggs from CC9 attack cancellation again

Bunny actually has a large issue in FC-EX-8. We have no feasible way of stalling her, but if we go for a dps route, in phase 2 we only have a 5 second window when she removes her shield before she gets another one. There's no way to kill her in that time. The only option is to make it so she never gets any shield in phase 2, which is only doable if there's no enemies on screen. Unfortunately there was one way to make that work

WOW Ray can do this? haha, I did FC - 8 with 5* only, but I have to stall her really hard with croissant + purestream + perfurmer in her phase 2 and was my first time defeating her, since I started to play after FC has been released, so I find quite impressive that nothing can kill her while she have her shield up

After two days of trying this stage on CM I can say with full confidence that I have no idea how the boss works. After getting to stage 2 he seemingly randomly chooses a target and oneshots basically everything but the tank, first I thought that it might be the attack he loads in muddy water, so I made sure he was completely in clear water, then I thought it targets the last operator placed, none of it seemed to be true, as he oneshot my healer that was placed on the highground next to boss and tank and was like 3 units down the list from last placed. In the end I gave up and steamrolled with Texas. It is astonishing how bullshit the description was.

The boss's basic attack is ranged with a 1 tile range. That might've been why? Was there another ally close to the boss? Otherwise its big attack that drains blight will prioritize attacking operators that recently attacked it (which are marked), afterwards the standard targeting priority
1. His shooting skill doesn't really choose target randomly. that skill has target priority that prioritizes one operator with mark on them, gained from attacking the boss (in case of multiple operators banging it, I'd reckon it'll target the most recent one, as in the operator that hit it last, or the closest one. Idk). Legit had a goofy moment where my auto essentially failed because he nuked Ray instead of Bison because of attack frame shenanigans. Ended up redoing the auto and just retreat Ray entirely after taking down its first phase. 2. Boss actually gains 3x3 range when entering phase 2, so it can hit the high ground with its physical attack. Now I don't know your setup, deployment order, and how you kill the boss, but from the looks of it, the boss targets your medic with its attack first as they're in the range then the tank? Unless said medic is reedic that attacks the boss then refer back to point 1.
@@dindapriska Nope, I read the boss description and the medic wasn't attacking (ST medic). There are two things that could have happened and both are extra wonky: 1. The boss somehow got pushed closer to the high ground during the transformation or 2. the boss somehow lost contact with the defender (which also makes no sense as the defender was tanking the boss phase 1) and because it was Heavyrain S2 she was hidden (unless blocking, which should have been the case as she blocked him phase 1) and the healer was somehow the closest target. Whatever it was, it made the fight basically unpredictable.
does chipping its stat in phase 1 also affect its phase 2 stats? idk how the boss really works but if so then chip its def and atk in phase 1 first

Appreciate it, ended up using this for reference of what the safer ranged tiles were for fly opening for a themed clear I did with a friend, surviving those initial flies was rough, Gavial s1 can kinda do it but not in a way that protects tiles around her from the flies if they try to keep her alive past skill ending, and even the skill getting up before death was very tight at r7. Really cool clear in general honestly, genuinely a quite hard intro, for a while I thought Lin was the only way, but without squad limitations I can imagine a few valid ways at this point, though the melee ones definitely have disadvantage of some more dirty floor.
