I've been watching Cali for quite a while now. (Probs nearing 4 months) and I'm very strict with my subscriptions. It's only content creator's I geniunely enjoy or someone that I know personally/play with. I think Cali finally deserves a sub from me! I really enjoy your content. There's just something that sets it aside from the others. I think it's the chillness along with no ego I think? Like you set a goal but allow yourself to kinda meander to get there. I really enjoy that. Feels more natural

Me and my group did a rock base last wipe, literally almost identical to this but with a bunker and suicide bunker to TC. Thing was a tank, upkeep was manageable for a full monthly wipe and due to the turret angles made it so hard for anyone to online and I'm sure we had 3 failed offlines.
Going to take a few ideas from yours and implement them next wipe!

I’ve never played rust, just watched hundreds of hours of content but am I missing something when I think. If I played rust & had good loot, obviously would make my main base as hard to raid as possible but then build 1-2 or as many suicide bunker bases as possible & split all the good loot between the main base & however many suicide bunker bases you build? It seems like common sense to me
Build a main base & at least one armored suicide bunker, honeycomb, pancake layer, 2x1 to hide the armored & split the loot between main & sui bunker base. If you can afford it, build a few more sui bunker bases & spread the loot even further. Maybe that just kinda takes the fun out of the game but as far as offline protection goes? That seems like the best option
@scotthill1600 I got a couple of hundred of hours played, nothing special like most players but you just adapt to your own playstyle.
I don't go for CZcams builds just for the fact the majority are built for online raids and look nice with peeks etc. I always try and do a freebuild and make them as tanky as i can, add bunkers/multiple bunkers to hide the best loot, I'd say 8 out of 10 times it works.
But like you said, I have friends who build multiple bases and stash everything when they log off but to me it's just time I don't have when I'm logging off so everyone's different.
Don't get me wrong last wipe we had a player who was causing havoc on the server, multiple bases so whenever we followed him back for the raid we got nothing. Turns out he had his main little Armoured 2x1 hiding out on an iceberg 😂
@@KieranDavoo ah didn’t even think ab the time it would take to stash all the loot whrn getting off. For a casual player I’d just do what you do in that case & maybe have one sui bunker base extra. Thanks for the reply.

I would have built on the top of the rock, then had an external on the ground as a decoy. You left you entire base way to exposed to offline grubs
