No, people like buying a BMW or Mercedes that depreciates like an avalanche, has horrendous reliability but gives them street cred pulling down the block!! And, yes, we’ve owned an X5 M Sport and will never own another from either brand!
This thing is almost perfect except for one missing critical piece: WHERE IS THE HURRICANE!? If it moves the big Wagoneer with some serious speed, can you imagine what a beast a JGC will be!
European cars don’t usually last over 100k miles they are very expensive to repair. Why do you think European models are usually leased? Yeah American vehicles also break down after 100k miles but they are much cheaper to repair. So In long term use you are way better off in an American car but if you want bullet proof vehicles get a Toyota or Honda.
Exactly. At that price you might as well get the BMW X5 M60. You get Over 500 HP and it's a BMW. 90K for a Jeep grand cherokee with 290 HP. They have lost there minds.
I still love it. The ride is great and there are many features that you don't even know you need till you have them. Plus it's soooo... nice looking!@@MissNikki0977

The unique thing is how stellantis made this as one of their flagship models. The recalls and tsbs are practically non-existent and we have never needed to take ours in, in the last 2y since owning one. We love it
I’m just REALLY not a fan of having to pay for remote start which I currently don’t have to with my ‘21 Durango and I was SO considering the Grand Cherokee L until I saw that hiccup
Really like the altitude/blacked out package on it, but like the Tupelo ( lighter) colored interior a bit more. Have a 2016 Summit & thinking of trading in for a 24 model. Have enjoyed it & not too many issues ( Not nearly as many as Land Rover I had prior :)…I like luxury, but don’t like to look too uppity to my clients, so the Summit kind of fits that bill too…
I have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. Mine has the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. As for the interior, mine has the Tupelo Palermo leather seats you're referring to. The wood material is the walnut wood.
Jist got a summit reserve and its been nothing but electrical nightmares. Bought in april and ive been in a loaner for the last month cause they cant fix it
No one will feel bad cus Jeep reliability Terrible compared to BMW & Mercedes also FYI American cars will never beat European cars. Europe goat for luxury AMERICAN IS BEHINDSD
Agree Mercedes and bmw depreciate a lot because of the reliability is not there they usually don’t last. It’s just luxury that people purchase this vehicles not for reliability.
Sorry, but Mercedes is a woke electric only joke now give me a break BMW is a status symbol and that’s it. Those cars are not reliable and in oil change is $700.
It is funny you’d think anyone who appreciates a MB or BMW would descend to buy an american SUV. Once you’ve tasted the best, you don’t settle for less.
It’s an awesome suv no doubt about that. But people who buy Mercedes or BMW don’t just buy them for all the features. Although those things are important. They buy them for the name. And jeep will always be considered blue collar. Or middle class. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that. But the Mercedes and BMW owners ain’t regretting anything. 😂 EDIT: I don’t own a Mercedes or BMW. I own a Nissan pathfinder. I’m a middle class guy. 😂
These vehicles are HORRIBLE with value. Had mine for 7 months and I’ve lost 14k off of MSRP. Dropped faster than any other vehicle I’ve owned. Stay clear from it lol
BMW & Mercedes are likely going to see the shop a lot less than this Stellantis/Chrysler product. Better lease it and keep it for the warranty period only. After that it’s going to run up those service bills with the 💩Jeep service. Then you are paying just as much for the Jeep (80k) as many Mercedes and BMWs are going to cost. That Jeep going to depreciate just as fast if not faster!
Did you Bump your Head? Or just still stuck in the 80's ? That GC Will still be Racking up the miles while the German crap is recycled at least 2-3 times...
@@tedlulis973 Your information is old and outdated. As recent as 2021 JD Powers Vehicle Reliability Study Mercedes, BMW & Porsche all rank far ahead of Dodge, Ram or Jeep. Jeep ranks as one of the lowest brands. Top bands for reliability were Lexus 1, Porsche 2, Kia 3, Toyota 4, Buick 5, Cadillac 6. High cost maintenance doesn’t mean a car is unreliable. It just costs more to maintain. So I stand on what I said Jeep makes some great looking stuff but you better off leasing it and getting rid of it out of warranty. Let the 2nd and 3rd owners deal with the trash parts quality and Italian American engineering…smh
oooof....better hope that screen works after that hit.
Great job slamming the dual screens 😂😂
Jeep Grand Cherokee L is one of the best looking SUV's on the market currently.
No, people like buying a BMW or Mercedes that depreciates like an avalanche, has horrendous reliability but gives them street cred pulling down the block!! And, yes, we’ve owned an X5 M Sport and will never own another from either brand!
Wow really that bad ?
Shame as I liked the look of the X5
Own a 2012 Grand Cherokee, looks like a made the better choice
These new Grand Cherokee's are really catching my eye.
That's a Summit or Summit Reserve
This thing is almost perfect except for one missing critical piece: WHERE IS THE HURRICANE!? If it moves the big Wagoneer with some serious speed, can you imagine what a beast a JGC will be!
Wait til you see my comparison with the SO Hurricane

Very very beautiful interior, I just didn’t like the headrest smacking the screen so hard when you dropped the second row.
I own one, and it’s worth every penny
Is this the embodiment of American car craftsmanship😂
Two rear screens outback...one rear screen outback 😂
89k for a non SRT jeep ? You are out of your mind 😂
Exactly. At that price you might as well get the BMW X5 M60. You get Over 500 HP and it's a BMW. 90K for a Jeep grand cherokee with 290 HP. They have lost there minds.
Yea but these days everything is expensive. In 2014 you can get a brand new Jeep srt for 59-65k. Todays Jeep srt will cost you over 100k CD
It's not the 80's You want the good stuff you have to pay up.
Yo when did keep get so cool
My favorite vehicle ❤
Just bought mine!
How are you liking it so far? Thinking of trading my ‘21 Durango but I’m not sure I wanna pay for remote start
I still love it. The ride is great and there are many features that you don't even know you need till you have them. Plus it's soooo... nice looking!@@MissNikki0977

Beautiful car

I even own the basic package and it's best car I've ever driven. Kinda expensive but my wife and kids love it. And I feel sage with my kids in it

Lucky lady!!!

The new design of Jeep Cherokee can be said to be a success
I like that ! I want it
$70k , yea no thanks
Nah I wouldn’t feel bad at all about buying my Mercedes G550 4x4 Squared.
Nobody would never said that ever after or before
And it’s so affordable 🥳
Yup I regret big time buy a bmw x5, that’s why this time I bought a Lexus!
For the price of one of these summits u better believe im choosing BMW..
But the jeep Grand Cherokee is better when it comes to off-roading
@@kervensferdinand669 i dont off-road so it doesnt matter.
80k
Jist got a summit reserve and its been nothing but electrical nightmares. Bought in april and ive been in a loaner for the last month cause they cant fix it
my 23 altitude runs smooth no issues i dotn need extra screens on the passenger side or leather full seats straight dumb
They just need a better engine choice. Very lethargic engine choices .
They messed up with the grill design. Not good
Cool features but definitely horrible vehicle had issues after another since 14mi brand new don’t waste your money
Wooooow
For some reason I don't regret my bmw
😂😂 Still love my BMW X7M
No one will feel bad cus Jeep reliability Terrible compared to BMW & Mercedes also FYI American cars will never beat European cars. Europe goat for luxury AMERICAN IS BEHINDSD
BMW and reliability should never be placed in the same sentence. Plus the BMW and Mercedes both have insane depreciation.
This isn’t laredo.
This Grand Cherokee is my choice over Mercedes and some BMWs
I love my Grand Cherokee Overland/High Altitude it’s got the 5.7 liter V8 Hemi it’s great looking and does everything I need it to do
It is funny you’d think anyone who appreciates a MB or BMW would descend to buy an american SUV. Once you’ve tasted the best, you don’t settle for less.
Not the best anymore!
It’s an awesome suv no doubt about that. But people who buy Mercedes or BMW don’t just buy them for all the features. Although those things are important. They buy them for the name. The rear end is complete shit
Even though it’s a Jeep, it’s still more reliable than a BMW or a Benz
Too bad reliability is bad too
Don't ever spend money on this car.
Audi sq7
V6 😂
What kind of Ratings and Feedback have these gotten?
The highest safety rating their is and the drive train has proven pretty Bullet Proof.
Ha ha ha, you say regret like this. Truck reasonably priced or a joke.
Worpth nothing in 5 minutes and even less reliability, wooooooooo
How much was this same price as a bmw???
Terrible reliability
They should’ve kept the V8 Hemi as an option
I think the new jgc front end looks like somebody took a crap on the design blueprints and forgot to wipe it off and that's what they made
Looks nice but it’s American engendered. Profit over customer is there way

Ugliest interior colour in the world
A Chrysler 😂
Nice interior but that exterior is very boring.
A stellantis jeepvan is no Mercedes or BMW 😂
ewww
I def don’t feel bad…..lol
Horrible reliability according to consumer reports
Really ? Do people still read that payed for Rag ? LOL !
Yea only problem is it’s a jeep
LOL. Still Stuck in the 80's ? Keep rocking that Mullet 😅
lol what? bro have you seen a trackhawk?
