Probably because the personalities are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Zim is super intelligent and megalomaniacal and Billy is so stupid and goofy

My mother knew someone who had grown up with Richard and was able to put me in contact with him. (I think I was about 11, circa 2001)
Not only was I able to talk to him about how he became interested in doing voice work, but he sent me a signed Invader Zim poster!

Wow! Since Helluva Boss, you can hear his real voice being used for Moxxie. I thought his voice would be strained for each character he plays. I'm happy they also have him sing with his real voice. I'm amazed.

I have to say, Richard's got a really youthful-sounding voice. He sounds like a little kid, which is perfect considering the characters he voices.
His voice is like a fine gold being grated on sandpaper.

I don't hear a lot of Zim in his natural voice, but I immediately hear Raz from Psychonauts in his voice.
First thing I ever heard him in though was _Destroy All Humans!_ where he was Orthopox 13 and he sounded a lot like a haggard, pompous, grumpy, demanding, older Zim. Loved that game how he's just barking at you the whole way through.
Damn, this dude was literally born a voice actor. His natural voice sounds like an older Billy or Zim
Said this before but would love to see Tom Kenny and Rob Paulsen on here. Maybe even Jennifer Hale, Dee Bradley Baker and Hynden Walch. Sorry, I'd like to see a lot of people do this. Just a few suggestions.

The main two I think of when I here your/his voice somewhere...I always think of Zim(I've watched the show) and Raz(I've played and beaten Pychonaughts(1st game)...I can't wait for Pychonaughts 2)...I'm a fan of both...and some of the others you've/he's voiced too.😎
