- One and a half years of growth on these awesome specimens! I truly cannot believe how happy all of these succulents are in this garden. The homeowner has such a green thumb. When working with mangave, we found that it’s easiest to get underneath the plant with a shovel to pop off the babies. You can also trim back infringing leaves without causing any harm to the plant. I spotted some aloe mite and removed the plants that were infected. We will keep our eyes out for more sores next time we come back to this property. Please ask any questions down in the comment section. Thanks for watching and subscribing! Happy gardening everyone!

Gorgeous contrast of colors against the white walls. That rock gives it a grand entrance of the pathway. ❤
What a gorgeous court area with the greens & oranges up against the huge rock & whitewashed walls.
The huge rock in the center of this garden makes it my favorite. What astonishing growth from the plants! What a treat to see the garden mature and see what to expect next year. As always, thanks.
Succulents on Steroids! Can't believe how big everything's become. Your editing made everything look so clean and perfect! Great eye!
Oooh 🥳🥳🥳 I remember this one, I'm so happy to see it again 💚💚💚
wow! you get to work in some of the most beautiful home gardens i've ever seen... aren't you lucky!! and they are lucky to have you enhance their gorgeous spaces.. those ROCKS, baby! lovin' those gigantic rocks!!! this is fabulous!!
Love the mystery Yucca. I would love to know what the variety.
I remember this house
Definitely one of the best gardens and location. Beautiful.
Laura, that Aloe ferax looks so mighty and happy, just amazing 😍🌵
Wooooow look at those flowers!
Hello Laura this is Heila from South Africa, they call that plant (Small Soapweed) the other name is (Yucca glauca - Yuccas). It is native to North America and thrives in desert conditions. Thank for your wonderful and informative website. Have a lovely day.
That aloe ferox is amazing
The yucca looks a little like a Yucca Baccata. It is known for its curly white fibers along the leaf margins.
I remember this installation. I cannot believe how everything has grown. I love it.
This house/garden is my favorite, absolutelly stunning!
O. M. G. !!! Super gorgeous garden, super happy to see its growth. Just phenomenal‼️
The garden grow up to be just amazing just stunning
Looks so gooooood
Wow I remember this installation, especially those huge rocks! Yes my goodness those succulents have thrived! Time really flies when you are watching you and your team Laura 💖💐
This is definitely one of my inspiration installations 😍😍😍
That's an amazing rock formation in the centre there golly!!
Beautiful growth and those babies !
Mystery Yucca looks to be Yucca elata/Soaptree Yucca
Yes for sure! Common in the desert cities, surprised it's not used much in CA.
My favorite!
The one off yucca definitely looks like a hybrid, probably Yucca thompsoniana being one of the parents? I don't know but it is beautiful!
The huge Aloes with the bright orange flowers are knockouts!! The botanic garden at U of C, Berkeley can help you to identify the variegated Yucca.
Fantastic!
Just FYI, you have inspired me, even thou I live in GA USA. Mix of perennials & cactus & succulents that I have to bring into the house approx 5 months a year. TY😊
My have the plants grown. It looks beautiful, I remember your installation Laura.
Nice and clean good job 👍
I love viewing all of these succulent and cactus gardens-It is my serenity- I’m in the Midwest -Wisconsin. So I do your idea of ribboning and rock design with perennials that I can grow here. Wish I could grow succulents year round too! My temperature is -15 below today!
That garden is beautiful. The quadricolor. pups! Ugh, I just LOVE those. Yet another great video for my evening relaxation and enjoyment. Thanks!!
OH MY GOSH WHAT THE HECK 😍😍😍
Wow those blooms!
WOW🌵🌵Everything is sooo BEAUTIFUL!!!
Love how this garden turned out!💕💕
Very interested to see how the slope at the back is shaping up. This part of the garden is spectacular !
Beautiful wow❤
I am in LOVE!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 Congratulations to you and your team!! Seeing this made my heart rejoice 😍♥
This is one of my favorite installations. I marvel at how everything has grown spectacularly.
Love the look.
So pretty!!!!!
OMG! This is amazing.
Spectacular growth! Nice clean up DFS!
Amazing Laura love the inspiration. Matt has moved to Phoenix and is helping me with my succulent journey. Extremely hard because of our severe summers. Would love to see you do an installation for plants that can handle triple digits.
I’ve been trying to find an aloe ferox to go snug right in between my dracaena draco and aloe Hercules. I might have to make a trip to the nursery Laura it’s always raving about in SD.
woow!!!! Laura you are amazing!!!
I'm in love with the bright colors of this garden juxtaposed against the white of the house. Always my favorite. Curious to see how the slope is doing.
Interesting work. The growth was amazing. It looks so much neater now.
white contrast works beautifully!
This garden is one of your many masterpieces, I just love the feeling as you walk to the (assuming) front door 😍 and the way the plants hug the huge rocks 🥰 plus all the aloe blooms 😍
Ahhhh those blooms!! Looks like we are going to lose skinny Laura in them
Great video! I learned a lot. I have a jade plant and it is my pride & joy! Succulents rock!!!
This is art.🌵
Hi Laura , am new to the channel and am totaly in love with everything and pray i will learn a lot from and do my garden since we can't have you here 😁.
Would you be possible to start leaving links for the same projects in the description so it is for us new to follow up . Thank you
Absolutely beautiful.
Love this garden❤
Cut back the Alluaudia Procera? Hannah not gonna like that. LMAO... We know how she feels about the one at home.
One of my faves!
😍😍😍
Laura, that Yucca at the front is Yucca elata. It grows in the northern region of the Chihuahuan desert.
Thank you!!!
Beautiful
Awesome garden😍
Lovely garden 🥰
Beautiful thankyou for sharing your videos
Desde que se diseñó este hermoso jardín quedé impresionado, más ahora con las diferentes actualizaciones he quedado maravillado de cómo logran conservarlo tan impresionante. Muchas felicidades a todo el equipo por tan grandioso trabajo. Felicitaciones 😀👍🏽👏🏽
The garden is just beautiful!!!! You have to start a book…lol. Remember me from last week.
This is so amazing! The growth was incredible as well as the choices you made for the right plants in that hot walk way! What about the hill? How’s that looking with all of the….agaves?
Magnífico. Eres una máster Laura!!! Love your work. Saludos desde Mallorca España
Bonito...
this is my fav garden you have done one of your best works imo. how's the slope? i love this house
I believe the mystery yucca, is called Beargrass or Yucca Glauca.
Are the giant rocks originally there? Wow! They are huge and so beautiful along with the succulent and xeriscape garden.
Hi Laura, I remember seeing the sad planter on the other side of the the house needed updating. Did you put the pups you pulled out on that side?
(It was when you guys did the back slope)
Isn't this the house with the steep hill in the back? I would love an update on that. I have an even steeper hill, so am curious about how it looks a year later. Thank you!
That yucca is an yucca elata aka soaptree.
Omg the colors and these plants!❤️I wonder if I could grow the audia procera( excuse my spelling) here in Texas.I just love this plant.Anybody has one on here from Texas?
Those flowers may compete with the other plant but it feeds hummingbirds.
I was hoping you'd show the progress of the slope behind the house
Any way you con list the plants in your description? Thank you. Want a great job!
I wish we could see the agave slope in the back.
The yucca is Yucca elata.
Its a yucca elata also known as a soaptree yucca
👋😃
It’s a Desert Spoon Yucca.
Wow!😮 Did that garden ever grow!!!
Is she fertilizing?
Also, why didn't you treat the aloes with your systemic stuff? It seems like you normally do that in all the other projects that I've seen you do. ???
It looks awesome, Laura!!! What an amazing landscape you created!!!❤️❤️❤️
They were too far gone, so we removed them instead.
Spring and fall are the seasons to treat for prevention.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. 🙂
I love seeing this installation I thought it was beautiful but oh my! It's become even more so! I was wondering . . . When you cut out a plant that has alomite, can you replace it with another aloe right away? Or is there contaminated ground and you have to wait for the alomite to die out first?
If ground is treated with a systemic, one should be able to replant right away.
Gorgeous installation. Good question and reply... but would like more specifics on the treatment for aloe mite and type of systemic recommended
Laura posted in another video comment that she uses Bayer Tree & Shrub Liquid Systemic to treat aloe mite
Mystery yucca. Not an Australian Grass Tree, is it?
Maybe I'm wrong but that Yucca looks like Yucca elata .🤔
Just curious...when trimming a mangave, can the cut leaves be propagated?
Any confirmed identification of the variegated yucca?
Could the Yucca possibly be Yucca filamentosa or Yucca flaccidia?
Is that a spoon yucca.
No weeds grew back in a year?
Slow down, Laura!
What kinda opuntia is that?
Is that a white bunny cactus?
Laura deleted another video with the title "January 17, 2022." You're so sus, Laura.
It looks like a skinny variegated filamentosa hybrid.
dynomite that rock
its a hairy garcia.too much koolaid
