reviews of the igloo IMX 70 say the internal dimensions of the cooler only give 54 qts? But when i calculate the specified internal dimensions (26.68" x 14.43" x 12") I come up with 80 qts. Have you measured the internal dimensions for comparison?
They're coated in plastic so they wont be directly exposed to salt water. but im sure you could replace them with rope if needed. There is also modeled in handles in the side of the cooler.
I purchased this cooler it says seven days ice retention more like 7 hours with real world use put 40 lbs of ice in at 2 for a five year old birthday party and buy 9 pm nothing but Ice water I know you aren’t supposed to open and close but there kids getting Capri suns ect you would think it would hold ice a little longer especially parked under a tree in the shade on a warm day but still pretty lame performance from an $ 250 dollar ice chest anybody else have a similar experience?
Just bought one and now unsure about the quality of the lid hinge. Clearly the weakest part of the cooler and terrible design. It’s not even replaceable.
It pisses me off that you take the time and make this video for us and yet people still want to bitch about how it was made wrong. Instead of complaining about how he should have done it, why don't you go buy the cooler and make your own damn video. Thanks for the video I am now going to buy this cooler....
The purpose of a cooler is holding ice and your review doesn't mention anything about how well it performs in ice retention. Glad it has a fish ruler though.😅
@@williamkhsu4 im not sure it has a seal but i keep it in the back of my truck so i've never paid attention. the drain plug is holding up good and i havent had any issues with it.

I like everything about this cooler! I was going to buy an Ozark Trail one, but for $200 the Igloo is a way better cooler.

Red fish and trout...you're in a southern state. How do the handle cables hold up in saltwater conditions? South Florida here.

A lot. Probably 36 if you layer them down flat and stacked them like that. Maybe more.

How heavy is it?
fairly heavy especially once you put your drinks in it.
