Mutant League action figure commercial (1995)

Slammin'! It's Mutant League, based on the cartoon, based on the game series! These action figures are a couple degrees removed from the original Mutant League sports games from Electronic Arts, but it's still the same kinds of gross and grody mutant athletes you know and love.
This comes from the collection of Mike Mendheim, designer of the Mutant League series. We're excited to be preserving Mendheim's papers at the Video Game History Foundation!

In case people don't know about this franchise, it was a short lived series on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive featuring Mutant League Football and its spinoff Mutant League Hockey, and forty episodes of a cartoon called Mutant League.
The toys were likely a tie-in with the show, given their release in 1995; the first game was '93 and the show from '94-'96.
