    Not sure if you ever figured out how to save a brush but once you've setup your brush in the Brush Settings option, just under the preview panel, click the the 3 horizontal dots option, you'll get an option to "Save as new brush". It also allows you to save it into it's own sub folder. 3 years on and your tutorial is still helping people. Thank you!

      You can’t use Fresco brushes in procreate. You can create brushes in procreate, I have a tutorial on that, check under the Procreate playlist.

    I'm so confused why this isn't working for me, 2 issues: I can only save my desired brush sample if I move the canvas, and then once it's selected, it only appears when the eyedropper tool is selected and the selection disappears when I select the brush icon, so I can't actually use it as a brush. Help!

  • @kaylenedawnbuteaufitnessbu2282

    This is like the symbol sprayer in Illustrator which is frustrating to me. I've learned a lot from you, thanks. I subscribed, but no alert. I don't know about you, but I don't need any more alerts. I'm writing a graphic memoir using photos in Photoshop and Illustrator and then using InDesign for the speech balloons. I've been procrastinating trying to figure out which of the Adobe drawing apps to use and become proficient at. Should I use fresco, photoshop sketch, illustrator draw, or? egads, why do they have to have so many? I did become proficient at procreate for a year until I learned about vector vs. pixel. Would you agree that Fresco is probably the best? I think I've made a decision but wanted your opinion. The characters will be realistic or animated depending upon the character's personality.

    • @printmesomecolor
      @printmesomecolor  Před 3 lety

      Hi Kaylene. Photoshop sketch and Illustrator draw are older Adobe apps, I would recommend using Fresco instead, as you have both Vector and Pixel features in it. I like Fresco mainly because it supports Vector, unlike Procreate. Procreate has it's own unique features which Fresco doesn't support yet. BUT, Fresco in combination with Photoshop and Illustrator would be a really good tool to have, you can pretty much do everything with these 3.

    Thank you so much. Bit there is one thing I have to ask: Is ist possible to use a picture as a multiple colour bush? I want to make a typo poster with a raindrop. Is that possible? Thank you so much for your help

    • @printmesomecolor
      @printmesomecolor  Před 3 lety +2

      Of course you can! Just make sure the picture has no background, if you want to capture the raindrop shape. You can even create brushes with emojis! Try it out! 😊

    I have this crazy problem with the brush size. I'll use 0.5 size for detail. Then I'll save and come back to it the next day. When I do and I choose the same brush with the same size, even though it claims to be 0.5, it actually looks more like 2.5. I haven't changed any settings. And resetting the brush or pressure doesn't fix it. Is Adobe Frisco falling apart for me now? Cause I keep having issues lately.😔

    i'm new to fresco, and am trying to create a pine tree stamp for my drawing. it's the last step i have to do currently, and i can't figure out a way to get the stamp to have a transparent background (main color separated from the background), so that when i stamp it doesn't bring the white background along with it. any ideas?

    • @printmesomecolor
      @printmesomecolor  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi, once you draw the pine tree, go to the bottom most layer (it will be a white background layer) and hide it. Now the background will turn into a checkered background. Export this as a png. This will have a transparent background and can be used to create a stamp brush without a background
