*Geraniums for Mosquito Deterrent* . I live in Upstate NY, geraniums do wonders for keeping the evening mosquitos at bay. You've been doing your gardening research and it shows. You've done great job with the garden. That one tomato plant was putting out alot of tomatoes. I started last year doing salsa canning. It's great when it is winter, and you can pull a jar of homemade out. We grew the peppers and onions, too.

Hi Jenna! I'm just starting to do more perennial pot gardening. I just started thinking why am I spending so much money planting annuals when I need to add some perennials around our home. I just started with a coupe of hydrangeas which are doing great. Last year I grew some lavender and planted it in the Fall and it's doing great too! It's so exciting to see! So one of my clients gave me a Clematis and it's doing great too so I'm ready to plant a few more plants this Fall. I just love all your pot gardening and yours have turned out so well! It gives me hope! 😄

I had three little lime hyd. Mine got to 6 ft which isn’t so little. They were so floppy and messy looking (we get rain regularly) that I gave them to a friend. It was just not for me. I hope they work out for your garden. Great video!

Hi Jenna Karla here (not Dave). At the end of the season you can put your green tomatoes in brown lunch bags in the sun and that helps ripen them as well. Works really well with cherry tomatoes. Just check them periodically and remove them as they ripen. Your garden looks gorgeous!!

I was recently at a breakfast restaurant called Huckleberry’s and we were recommended the fried green tomatoes with a side of spicy ranch … OMG 🤤🤤🤤 so good!!!!

Will be making that 😉 I picked up a citronella plant from my local garden shop back in May and the lady told me to run my hands through it and shake up the leaves which helps spread the scent, and the coolest thing is smelling that fresh citronella smell. I’ve only ever smelled it in a candle. You’re garden is so pretty! 💗

Hello Jenna, I have been waiting for an update, thank you. Your garden is doing beautifully. Love all the tomatoes. I have learned there is a spring version of tomatoes and a summer version. The summer varieties can take the heat. I planted my spring too late it’s growing but I was told at the garden center it will not produce.
My husband and I are still working on our back yard make over. We set the late to pavers today. They are 24” each. We purchased pot’s yesterday. The fun stuff is just about to start. Thank you so much for the ideas and the inspiration. Let me know if I can send you photos. Great job 👏

I have the worst Japanese beetle problem too! I use seven spray and traps. Ugh! Love the progress! Do the tomatoes 🍅 actually taste like tomatoes or grocery store tomatoes? I always buy heirloom tomatoes at farmers market because I want it taste like the tomatoes that I grew up on.
