What is Wales' greatest ever try? Let us know below!
One day india will play rugby world cup
Phil Bennett Murrayfield 1977 in the amateur era. In the pro era Shane Williams vs South Africa away 2008
That's a difficult one
Scott Gibbs at Wembley
That try wasn't in the Rugby World Cup... Nor in the 2000's.
Hard to say, the greatest Welsh try , one come's to mind .The winning try in the Scotland game in 2010, we were 10 points down with in 8 mins we were 7 points up at the end with Shane's try, Scot Williams try in 2012 in the England game , It is nice to beat England in Cardiff but to beat England in England that is magic on there turf and The 2 tries by Alex Cuthbert on Saturday 16 March 2013 Wales (30-3) England that,s why 30-3 is after my name Thanks for the video I do love these old games, Cymru ym Byth Diolch!
Like when the commentator said to Gareth Thomas "Give yourself a pat" That's the ayatollah celebration that Cardiff City does, Thomas was a fan
The one against England in 2003 was the best
Wasn't even the best try in the game though was it 😉
Wales 2003 scored some worldies. Their game against NZ one of the best I've ever seen
People have forgotten just how good Shane was
Shane a legend on the pitch and a legend of the pitch. I met Shane in 2018 in Wrexham a true Welsh Gent, A pleasure to meet
Nobody forgot
That Wales try against ABs my god how many penalties were in that last ruck? Just look at the 7 in from the side.
ABs are the masters at it so it was just payback.
Phil Bennett try against Scotland 1977 is the best Welsh try. ❤
Its the best of the 2000nds video
Sorry misprint, should of read 1977.
@@leonhuggins7579 I know, but I had to get it in.
The one against England at the end is one of my faves
shame its just from the 2000s as there were so many amazing ones in the 70s
Why does this cover such a short time period? There were as many good or better in the RWC between 2011 and 2019.
Shane Williams against Italy in six nations 2005
Love that Hook’s try comes down to a dummy pass. What else would it be
It was a good dummy. Even I thought he passed and I'm watching the replay.
Who said giants.have to be big?. Shane shows them
I never understood why Shane didn't play at no 9 and Lee HP at no 10
Because Shane was better on the wing and HP never played at 10 in his life
@@oliprj8676 I know that. It was just a fantasy question based on the fact that I saw them being targeted and neutralised many times against the big teams due to their size. Their size would not have been relevant at 9 and 10 and with their skill sets they would have been deadly in those positions.
Shane Williams. Enough said.
Shane's last minute try against Scotland
Lifetime fan of Barry John but almost any try by Shane will do
Greatest ever? How about the Gerald Davies try against Scotland at Murrayfield in 1971?
Steven Jones against england
Anyone who doesn't pick the try against England isn't Welsh!
Lol
A fair few great tries missing
Wales lost against Fiji because Stephen Jones missed 3 conversions 🤦♂️
There couldn’t have been many to choose from ;-)
Bruh wales have been number one on world rankings in the last decade or two so nah you’re dead wrong
@@fumbucker6793 I was just teasing. Agreed, Wales are a great team, with fantastic supporters. Greetings from the Southern Hemisphere. Go Wales!
Sorry, but this is a really poor compilation
No.
Let me correct myself. An average try on the international stage will probably be the best Wales try ever according to Wales standards.
Oh don't be so sad and miserable.
@@davidhughes8795 Have you been following rugby for some time?Surely you can muster more self-respect than just being another internet troll.
That's unfair buddy I love watching them, they're so unpredictable.
