When I see the unpainted bait, I automatically hear “Starting with white.” 😂
I can’t begin painting a bait without mentally hearing that😂
I'm almost craving a black base. I know he's done at least one, and there's a solid chance it's the goth in me, but a black base, or a black/white/monochrome (aluminum and shiny count as monochrome) paint job
@@Kehy_ThisNameWasAlreadyTaken he did one on the antique musky lure
your gill game is next level... incredible work, man.
Saying "This is a be careful moment" after choosing a pink and yellow sea fish for a bass bait.
This is why I subscribed 6 years ago.
Love the random zoom in on Chip!
I've been watching your videos for years, and I'm always enamored by your painting process.
This might be my favorite paint scheme you’ve done, might need to make more tropical fish because this was Awsome
Totally agreed since there a lot of predators arrounds here too
As someone who spends a lot of time trying to recreate various saltwater fish/squid you knocked this one out of the park! Would love to see your adaptation of a squid bait
The paint job on this one goes crazy. Awesome work as always!
That's some crazy action for a wake bait! That's sure to become mega official come Springtime. Awesome paint job once again. You make the whole airbrush thing look easy. I almost want to get an airbrush setup so I can start doing some painting on the Epic Boss and Stud Baits!
Always always always amazing work sir
Yeah that bait is a chunker. Loved that beautiful paint job.
I was at a store and saw a table top painted wooden bait on a dowel and stand. I immediately thought about Mr.Marling Baots.
Excellent, Magnificent work!!! Really very talented. Marling baits top 1!!😀👍👍
reminds me of the nacre on the inside of a conch shell I used to stare at as a kid. Just because the colors made me feel good.
It would be cool to see a saltwater series of paint jobs. I’d love to see your take on a pinfish.
Wow that subtle blue streak at the top is epic
I usualy use lead split shots they mix paint well and don't rust. Thanks for your videos there great.
Love the paint job! Very striking… excellent work as always!
You can t replace this artist , thank you for your videos , no one can beat you in your way
Dude, Maybe my new favorite Marling Video- Classic one liners and a truly amazing paint job. Let's go fishin some time- Muskies, my boat
Snap a picture with your phone for reference on the gills. Then you won’t have to flip it and readjust. Love your videos, great stuff!
One of the prettiest paint jobs
I think it needs Mumma's touch with one of her fancy rear treble hooks! The rear fin on that fish is very prominent. Beautiful as always, my good sir!
Love the paint videos!! Keep them coming for sure! Love your bait videos too, been watching for 6 yrs+ but have always admired your paint and techniques in your paint so much!
Haven’t seen a video from your page in a while so glad I saw the notification.
Yes, bud. I actually look forward to seeing your video. I thank you for posting and creating good content.
This thumbnail is art
Heart palpitations every time that black goes down for the gills. Sooooo much work under it! Fantastic results as usual 👍👍
You definitely are a true artist,excellent job.😀👍
I love how this video goes from hand painting some beautiful artwork on baits to, closeup shots of some random bug on your window. I love it. Haha
I think it’s a type of chinch bug.
Man, that's an absolute beauty of a bait. Awesome job
You are a great artist love what ya do thank you for sharing love it thank you
“Look at the girth”
-Marling Baits, 2023
😂
Spectacular, Master Marling, sir.
It deserves to be in a museum, or a fishes mouth. Beautiful bait sir
great vid as always
wisdom time with buck is the best. i still cant believe that i am following you already nearly 3 years you got me through so much you dont even know. hahahah i dont even fish that much anymore.
Yes happened to be looking at my subs and my favorite nate is there for me much love from the TX coast❤❤
Beautiful finishing 👍🎉
Dude...best one yet. Thing looks amazing.
Love you keeping your boy in the video.
Soon, you should have him draw something and you paint it. And see if you can catch on it.
For hand painting, you should look into nail art brushes. :) Nail art striping brushes are unmatched for line work! Awesome stuff.
I thought the orange was nice up top then I saw the aluminum around the gills. I was thinking that looks like glitter. Didn't know that was an airbrush option.
The eyes 👀 are Amazing 👏
Good to see your starting a ladies line of Baits. They always go for the "girthy" lures.
One of the best paints I’ve seen
I caught so many threadfins brfore. Those bois are really great for frying.
another gorgeous bait!!!!! so sick man
What an incredible paint job. Wasn’t sure where you were going with it, but as the artist you are, you always turn it into such a beautiful piece of art. Bravo!!!
Also couldn’t smile at the fact that your son is talking so well now, the kids are growing fast. Glad things are doing well for y’all. Guess I’ve been a subscriber for a longtime, huh….lol
Beautiful color all around nice bait❤
Coffee always make everything extra natural when shooting paint lol. That paint work came out absolutely bonkers! So good!
Fantastic paint job!!
I loved the miniature pic so much 😂😂
always enjoy the videos, love your art and hope to many more
Haha yeah buddy it's another marling bait video... I'm truly happy now 😁
I totally dig the color scheme! No snow/ice here yet in Indiana. Waters are all open, but winter is coming. Won’t be long till spring fishing is here again
I live for some bait making magic from Marling!!!
The rusty balls, rusty White. Once again what a beautiful bait Nate, happy holidays to you and yours 😍
It would be nice to mimic the tale fins with an orange deer fur trim on the tail hook.
Fantastic per the norm great work bud!
Stunning!
Great job, as always!
My favorite lure you made yet
That lure looks so good i want to take a bite out of it.
I think it really needs a bright orange feather treble to match the vermillion on top and give it a bright “tail” like the reference photo, your one dang good bait maker. A master of your craft, a masterbaiter if you will.
Unreal! Take a look at some of the saltwater bass we've got on the west coast. Maybe you could paint one of those some day.
Love the paint man never ceases to amaze me what you are pulling off with a airbrush and some screen great work as always
Love the painting tutorial!
Another killer bait.
It's almost like a remixed fire tiger paint scheme.
Magnificent Marling Master-Lures. You totally rock! TLF
Beautiful bait! Would love to see a mackerel down the road.
I'd use glass marbles instead of metal slingshot balls, shouldn't have to worry about anything bleeding or changing colors in the long run and you should still get the shake up you want
Amazing Work as usual!
Hey , Marling baits , it's not that you feel like justifying about why your doing something, it's more like just being truthful with all us viewers, and you are teaching us all your reasoning in why you are doing something.. it's all great in all good conversations in the truth...
May the Lord bless you in all understanding...👍
Always amazing to watch you work. Truly some Bob Ross type vibes!
nice work as usual, Nate. I’m at the point where I need to learn to paint in airbrush & look forward to purchasing equipment very very soon.
Nate - what 12 colors would you suggest me starting with?! I definitely will be including White & the Flesh-tone color in the 12, but feel clueless on the other 10 colors. I want to try to keep it simple & don’t feel I need 8 different greens for now. I chose to stick with a dozen color options for simplicity, as I get going & will expand as needed
any advice or direction you could point me in is/will be greatly appreciated…I view Marling Baits’ creations & quality is the goal. I’m crafty, but plan to be patient.
airbrush manufacturers & paint types/brands are very foreign to me
Nate - you’re just The Best at what you do, what you share with us & your personality’s sense of humor. where you’re headed with folks like Epic Bait Molds’ & other collaborators is exciting. you’ve amazing career opportunities. we’ve seen you find success & start your family that grew & is flourishing over these recent years…and it’s easy to be excited for all of it.
cheers, Homie
That is one wild thumbnail, I love it
To prevent clogging like you had with the grey, every now and again just blast a bit of paint at full force.
The reason it clogs when spraying very little amount of paint is because there's too much air VS paint which causes the paint to dry in the tip. Gotta blast that out.
You've done an amazing job with the paint scheme, it looks awesome. Could you please do a Vampire Bat for Halloween and do fun facts on it.
You know you should come out to North Dakota with that particular bait and toss it around Lake Sakakawea for Big Pike. They would crush that thing. In the spring of course. I know a few excellent places.
Nice job Nate
It's OFFICIAL 🤘
The best quality and best looking fishing lures in the world!
Great work! Thank you so much for making great baits, videos, and content. I really appreciate that your channel is amazing and wholesome! Keep up the great work!
Naraly looking bug! Looks like it has been to the Marling paint lab. Awesome reproduction of the colors on the bait. You rule!
Well a big hello from up north. Remove rusty steel bearings, replace with glass marbles.
Stunning nate
you should use the masking fluid on those yellow lines. like white base then shoot yellow lines then paint on the masking fluid over the yellow lines then shoot grey over the mask. its like a watercolor technique.
Incredible work, as usual!
As long as you are doing thick and round ish baits you should do permit. Really fun to catch and would make for good fun facts.
I like the idea of a batch of salty fish. Red drum or sheepshead would be fun.
Sheepshead is a naturally round nugget
the thumbnail got me hooked
I love the thumbnail makes me feel like
I noticed most of your crank baits are shallow runners. Deeper diving crank baits are my most used. Canadian lakes with deep dropping rock shorelines and 12ft deep cabbage weed beds.
Thank you for any great video
Keep up the great work
Maybe do a surface spider 🕷
😎🎣
Just ordered some epic bait molds, I’m in the big leagues now
Love the size of the bait a true pike bait ! Even Large catfish and +6lbs walleye would smack that ! Ive not seen the paint scheme yet but Yummy!
Awesome to see a trigger time video..I'm forever thinking how are you going to pull it off using those colors Nate, but you nail it everytime!
Just saying really enjoyed the saltwater fish theme, possible ideas Atlantic creole fish, or some sort of tang, I like the bright colors!
What kind of airbrush do you use? Have you ever considered doing a video talking about that? I like how your videos discuss your painting techniques.
Also, my son and I have been watching your videos for quite a few years now and have really noticed your techniques and skills grow. Top notch stuff
New video it’s a good day
Would love to see a pinfish. They have nice patterns and colors. Also a really nice bait fish.
Bro we another crazy bait series
