I personally loved Emma Watson's vocals/singing in this movie, particularly in this scene, because it felt like she really connected with her character. It's nice, as odd as that may seem, to finally know what happened to Belle's mother. I love the classic and new songs in this movie :)

I know reactions to Emma's vocal performance in the movie have been lukewarm to say the least but I don't think her voice is actually all that bad. She actually sounds her best in this particular song, very tender and emotional.
Her voice isn't that bad. Even if she was flat throughout the entire song, with manually note-by-note pitch correction, you wouldn't be able to hear it. For whatever reason, they just overdid the tuning. It's not Emma's fault.
It sounds so good because this is the one song that she wasn't auto tuned at all. Personally I don't think she needs the auto tune at all and that is why I love this song!
I quite enjoyed her singing and agreed, this was very good - perhaps because it was more like acting than singing in a musical. Having said that, I've just listened to Susan Egan sing this for Broadway Princess Party, and even though the audio isn't great, she was AMAZING!
