If you don't want to edit your copied kick midi data, you'll be okay with that EQ button in compressor's sidechain section and use your original kick as a sidechain.
Instead of lowering volume of your auxiliary track, you can always switch it off with that big, yellow, numbered button and set sidechain to pre-fader. Sometimes it's good to leave some mess but it's always more future-proof using tracks with good names for their only one function.

    Dope vide!
Question : Could you just mute the sidechain channel in stead of turning the channel volume down?
We are new to live just got it a few days ago!
    Thanx again!

Yes actually! A fellow in the comments actually told me about this trick. You can mute the side-chain channel, and then on the compressor side-chain drop down you pick "pre-fx/pre-fader." This way it'll still catch the audio signal even though it's muted. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

      @@minutiaemusic This is amazing!
We love it because this allows us to control the sidechain!
For example sometime we don't want the intro to be side chain!
So having this here with the ghost track helps big time because it only triggers where the ghost track is printed!
We saw several ways where some used 2 compressors to sidechain and ect. lol
Just like you showed but having it with the ghost track and using a sound with a sharp attacks helps
would you pick post FX or pre FX/ Pre fader?
This was very helpful and an amazing vid! We hope you keep making these!
Have a great and enjoy the rest of the weekend and thanx again!
