From what I've read yes it can! You use the touch strips instead for dialing in parameters. Keep in mind that the Jam doesn't have a screen for locating and reading names of parameters, though. Edit: So upon further inspection (page 120 of Maschine Jam Manual) the only parameters that can be P-Locked are: Control, Aux, Macro, Level, Swing, Tune Or Pan.

Yep! I actually didn't hold on to the Push 2 for very long. As great looking as the 2 is the 1 does everything I need to and I'm quite comfortable with it.
