If you've seen the movie Straight Outta Compton, the story of NWA and Eric Eazy-E Wright specifically, that's also a lot of back story leading up to Bone Thugs N Harmony. Eric signed them and got them started shortly before he died. That was a video clip taken of him from other media in the scene both going up the mountain, and his face in the sky when they were saying "see you at the crossroads so you wont be lonely". They were honoring their friend and giving props to the guy that gave them the first big break that put them on the scene back in the day. Very touching.

Their mentor Eazy E had died around this time and wish bones uncle Charles had passed away around that time too and this song was decicated to them. That's why you see Eazy E at the end of the vid in the sky
I know every words to the song because I've been listening to that song Days of Our Lives and every other song that's close to the heart like this one ever since I was 5 and I'm 33 now if I'm not wrong that's 28 years and your Bone Thugs is my paper group of all time because they write songs that are close to the heart

8:02 A lot of them did... The first version they made was called "Crossroads" and it's on the album. One of their homies called Wally died when they were coming up and they did that song for him. Before the album came out, more people died... Their Producer Eazy E (the one with the sunglasses and cap near the end) and other people close to them died. This version is called "Tha Crossroads" (sometimes you'll find the words Mo Thug Remix added) and it's dedicated to all of them.
That was Easy E from NWA. He signed them to Ruthless. And he is saying "and I'm gonna miss everybody.

I'll never forget the first time I heard Bone Thugs. I was mostly into country music and some metal. I found a CD on the ground next to my truck with just graphics and no words on it. It was their E. 1999 album. I was absolutely floored by what I was hearing. My favorite Bone song is Notorious Thugs w/ Biggie.
This was my favorite group growing up, I remember the cassette tape & continually rewindin just to hear this song over & over..Original song was for a friend(Wally) who died, many mistakenly thought mournful ode was only for Eazy-E, but it was really for all the Ppl they lost…

If you listen closely you can here Bizzy saying "Long Gone" at the same time as "Body" in the word "Everybody" is being said which makes the "B" in body and "L" in Long overlap one another...When you listen with this in mind it will make perfect sense..

What incident in the studio? Eazy E passed away from pneumonia.. it was so bad because he had AIDS so his immune system couldn't fight it like a normal one could
