What's my story? An engineer, in love with his job, started teaching on the side. Got lucky. Impacted 1000s of lives. Had to finally leave his job to increase the impact surface area. Raised $5M funding to fix education. Is learning day and day about startups and building a valuable product.
How is it going? A decade of engineering helps in systems thinking and product building. Learning about Strategy, Marketing, People Management, and Finance on the go.
What am I building? Today, 25 million Indians prepare for government job entrance exams. They do it for years together. The probability of success is less than 1% but they still do it. Why? For the lack of a structured alternative to launch their white-collar career. I am building Invact to bridge this gap.
How? Follow me to know, it's a long story. I am telling it in parts every day.
Amazing video "English is not a skill". I have seen companies like Infosys, TCS, Accenture all have their first 3 rounds for Aptitude and English. Once they filter people, then they train them technically only because they don't get trained people already! If they get skilled people, this signal of English wouldn't count. Thank you for enlightening everyone. 🤩
I think here is a problem these types of service based companies doesn't matter how much skilled you are you have to clear the aptitude to appear for the interview without clearing the aptitude you can't even get a chance for the interview...

You don't have to speak English like a foreigner. But English is still important as long as you can convey your message to the other person in an understandable way.

Mai non-tech background se hu. Mera 3 months hone wala hai, Mai unpaid internship kar rhi hu for testing.
2 months 10 days Tak woh log merese low level of BA ka kaam karwaya. Maine jab kuch bola, tow un logo ne mujhe 1week Tak KT Diya about manual testing. Phir bola, ki main abhi vi capable nehi hu as a manual tester and 1month Mera internship extend hua. Jo sahi v hai sayad, kyu ki 1week me software testing sikhna possible v nhi hai..
Lekin, woh log mujhe bohot demotivate kar rhe hai. Last Friday ko mera TL,meko bola, "Tumhe corporate work culture k bare me kuch nhi pata and tum yeha pe fit nhi ho paa rhe ho. Tumko English v nhi pata. Client tow chhor do. Tumko apne colleagues k sath v communicate karne layek English nehi pata. Aaise kaise chalega. Tum saturday Sunday Tak socho ki tum khudka or humlogo ka time tow nehi waste kar rhe ho? Agar or v time waste karna hai, tow hi Monday ko training k liye aa jana."

Jo bhi naye bache Is industry mai aana chahte hai please frontend development avoid karo agar aapko job jaldi chahiye. Bahut jada matlab bahut hi jada bheed hai yaha LinkedIn mai 10 minute mai 200 applicants ajate hai naukri mai hazar pahuch jaata hai. 100 jagah apply karogey mahino lag jayengai 1 reply anai mai. Mai kahunga bahut research karo market ka pehley fir start Karo frontend sikhne mai bahut time jaata hai market mai skills bahut chahiye html,css, javascript aur react sai sirf kaam nahi chalta. Issai jada jaldi toh backend mai ho jaata hai mehnat hai dono mai aapko choose karna hai konsa karna hai agar frontend sikh rahe ho maanlo almost sab kuch hi aana chahiye.

Bhaiya , mai abhi ek project pe kaam kar rahi hu jisme user ka avatar edit kar sakte jisme crop ka option bhi hoga. So mujhe kya react UI library use karna chahiye ki nahi karna chahiye ?
