This is the second baseball glove that Buckler sent me. The first was a 12.75” Texas steer hide glove. I was impressed by the glove but it was taking a very long time to form to my hand. It’s a super heavy duty glove which has its own ups and downs. This time Buckler sent me a 11.5” Premium US Steer Hide glove. So far I’m a huge fan of this glove! It’s been forming to my hand much much much more quickly and the leather feels great. In fact the leather is actually very comfortable to the touch. Due to the glove being so comfortable and quick to break in my only concern is the gloves durability. I’m hoping that it doesn’t break down quickly but I will let you know if that is the case. The glove has two natural hinges at the thumb and pinky and I love it. This is great for infielders who want to have a long lasting glove because you can keep the palm and heel stiff for a longer period of time.
Let me know what other up and coming glove companies I need to review!

hello I'm Korean and I'm fan of your channel . As far as I know, Buckler is made in Indonesia and designed by Korean company named Inkojava, Buckler glove is subsidiary of Inkojava.
This company is famous to student players for cheap price in Korea, like 44 glove in USA. And this company's Japanese version is named David, USA's version is Buckler

Great video. Love your detailed breakdowns. Knowing how the glove likes to close, how easy it is to break in, etc. is valuable information to have when considering online-only gloves like Buckler.
As a general request for future videos, I'd also love to hear how the glove fits (e.g. how tight are the finger stalls, how much room is there in the thumb and pinky, etc...) maybe with comparisons to more familiar gloves like a Rawlings 200 pattern or a Wilson 1786. As a player with smaller hands, a lot of gloves just don't stay on my hand comfortably so the fit has a major influence on my purchasing decisions. For this reason, I only like to buy gloves that I can try on in person, but getting that info here might make me more comfortable with an online-only option.
Also I'd love to see a review of a glove from a Japanese company like Zett or Kubota Slugger!

Buckler has been super consistent plus I’m a big fan of steerhide leather over the Kip leather 44 uses. Kip is cheap and easy to use for a solid glove but solid steerhide is also super nice and what I prefer. Quality steerhide for cheap just seems less common

The name is too ugly for me to rep it on a glove. That’s what I notice a lot about the newer glove companies. They aren’t really taking their brand names into consideration. I’ll never wear a glove with a huge “buckler” on it. Or “Rico” or any of the other really bad named companies. It’s almost like they don’t even take any time considering if others will want to wear a glove with a stupid logo/name. More thought needs to go into these companies names and logos. They are all doing piss poor jobs in that department imo. 44 even is a terrible name. I’ve had 4 of them and the worst part of them is the 44 on it. Names are important. All of the newer glove companies are really missing the mark with their logos/names in my humble opinion. And I’d be way more into the 44s but they just remind me of the Mexican made gloves you could go right into TJ and buy in the 2000s called “Domin”. They were the same quality and you could get a full custom under $80 US dollars back then. Me and my Dad would go over and get customs made for 4-5 guys on our team and bring them back. 44s are worth about 1/6th of what they charge is why when people say, “it’s the best deal you can get” it’s true. But it’s not a quality product. It’s incredibly cheap material crafted with cheap labor. Mostly illegals. Check their website and socials. The only American working for them are the athletes who play, Benny and the owner. That’s why your gloves are so cheap. Cheap materials and cheap labor. Go pick up a high quality mizuno, Pro Preferred, A2000 or A2k. The new glove brands don’t compare. Even as much as my wallet wants them to. I’d rather spend $100 extra bucks and get something that’s well made. Whenever 44 do the sales it’s hard to avoid caving and trying another one out so I totally understand why people try them. I still probably will too. But I can’t help but feel that lackluster feeling every time I put my hand in one compared to the super comfortable feeling I get putting on an A2000 or even my TPX pro flare feels better. 🤣
