Ontario Peak looks very nice. I like how you can get up above the clouds and check out the amazing views. So many great hikes here though. Cucamonga Peak looks so cool. What a great hike.

I will say all these hikes look amazing. The Falls in the first one was cool. Look at those views from the mountain top. That's cool that they have rest stops along the routes. I love boulder climbing. That's why I enjoy Acadia so much. I love the San Gabriel MTns. Been up there a few times when I lived in LA.

Wow so many great hikes to choose from there. I'm not sure which would be my favourite, but I like any hike with pretty scenery and mountain views. Number 2 looks great but probably too difficult for me. The permit process was interesting. Cucamunga had insane views at the top!

I am so surprised, how little I have hiked in California. Been living here for 25 years. Your video makes me definitely want to get out there.

I’m with you on # 5. I’d rate it lowest for the lack of water too. Love the hut and waterfall at #4. I mike that there’s a refuge with the notebook at #3. Cool that you can see the clouds at #2. I can see why coucamonga peak is your favorite. The view from that cliff is epic!

All of these are awesome! I was just in Palm Springs recently and wanted to do some hikes around there but didn't have time. Are all of these in a fairly close distance to each other? I know you said a couple of them start off from the same point. Definetly on our bucket list. We were able to do some hiking out east in Vermont and New Hampshire last year which was pretty cool. Great stuff! Subbed to your channel too!

Yeah they are all in Southern California 3 of the trails discussed in the video are in Mt Baldy, California near Claremont which includes San Antonio Peak, Ontario and Cucamonga peak but you have to drive a bit more east to get to San Jacinto peak which you can take the tram from Palm Springs to get to which narrows it down to 10 miles round trip

@@thelonehiker4698 Nice. That was my first time in Palm Springs. I've been to LA and north of there up the coast, but the southern area was pretty awesome. Would love to go back with more time.

@@lesserknownadventures yeah i would recommend doing San Jacinto from the tram because I did it from the other side of the mountain range from Idyllwild and it was HARD
