  • Just before Halloween, we hiked to the highest point in Los Angeles County: 10,064’! This is the highest we’ve ever hiked and it definitely felt high up. Someday we want to do Mt Whitney so we’ll have to get used to more and more elevation as time goes on. Our #keldrianadventures video will really give you a good idea of how out of shape we-I mean how much incline we faced...as well as how out of breath we were...We have a lot of work to do...

This video is soooooo nice. I have watched many Baldy videos to help me when I finally get the courage to go up there and your video is probably the most helpful. I am also afraid of heights and is most terrified by those switchbacks and the Devil's backbone and his fear was very inspirational to the scared. Also seeing that you guys went up there with the minimum really helps out.
These videos tell us to wear 80 pounds of gear lol. I've been dreaming of Baldy for over a decade and you guys helped me out a lot. Thanks. I wanna go the same route as you guys to get the backbone out the way. When this snow melt, this will be conquered.
Fyi Your video actually shows more detail of the hard parts and the actual journey which I surely appreciate. Thanks a lot and subscribed. If you're doing Baldy tours, I'll be the first to sign up lol

Thank you Freddy! You’re so kind! Yes! If you go in seasons with no snow you’ll only need water, food, and layers as well as other usual necessities like emergency kits etc. No need for insane packs!

It is a hard hike! Planning for the spring. There is another winter storm today. I hope you had a chance to go to the Baldy Lodge. They have great burgers and nachos😊

According to peaks advisor: “There are 264 named mountains in Los Angeles County. The highest and the most prominent mountain is Mount San Antonio (also known as Mount Baldy)” And it is on the border of LA and San Bernardino County. According to the book “101 Hikes in Southern California” by Jerry Schad and David Money Harris published by wilderness press, the hike highlight says “panoramic views along the Devil’s Backbone and atop LA County’s highest point.” In addition, a quick Google search of “highest peak in Los Angeles county” talks about this peak. Regardless of where it is, we are glad we did this hike. It was difficult and a good taste of what Whitney ended up being like at a higher elevation.

Are there no Mt San Antonio videos where it's simply a vlog to the summit and not saturated with unnecessary shtick?
