I was able to recreate this with some of my film lights, im now addicted to it haha. I loved the dream machine experience so much when i visit it in Cardiff multiple times, thanks!
back in 1971, I participated in a psych experiment. Two halves of a ping pong ball was taped over my eyes to create a white homogeneous field and sat facing a sophisticated strobe light. All I had to do was press a button when the strobe (which he controlled) became what I thought was a constant white light, no more individual strobe flashes. The extraordinary range of glorious colours and fantastic geometric shapes of all dimensions was better than any high I had ever experienced. I drifted into blissful awe, oblivious to the experiment expectations. The controller had to call me back to reality. But I had one nagging thought... what if the strobe had triggered a seizure that may have lurked in some hidden cerebral fold? Cheapest and best high ever!!
I invented this 20 years ago in high-school. I found out flashing a strobe light on your eyelids would create amazing visuals, especially if already taking hallucinogens. The visuals were intense and took the trip to a whole other level. The light and warmth of the light directed the trip down a very nice happy path
