How do you mean?..I can tell you my experience with this exact mower if you care to read it, I purchased one of these mowers recently to replace an 8 year old Pioneer. The Pioneer was an S series and my new Radius is an E series, technically the new mower is a lower model but its actually a nicer machine, bigger frame, bigger front casters, the ROPS are round now and branches don't snag them as much, better design all around. Granted my new machine has smaller hydro transmissions, however its faster than my old machine in a race and its much more responsive with the controls, the Pioneer can be really jerky at times the Radius is smooth as can be. I have not changed the oil in this one yet but i don't need any tools its got this cool drain hose that you don't have to fight with (think I'm going to love it) mine has the Exmark engine, its 24-25hp 708CC, its not as loud as the Pioneer and it does not have a canister filter like the Pioneer (but that might be a good thing, the Pioneer filters are not cheap) hopefully the Radius filters will be ok. Its also lower to the ground (kinda) the frame is different..I have not cut with it yet but I've currently got 4 Exmark mowers. 1 lazer z, and 3 Pioneer (now 2 Pioneer) and the new Radius, Every Exmark mower cuts awesome regardless in my experience. Hope that answered any questions ya might have had.

Joe Blow I'm concerned about purchasing one for longevity and dependability.

In my experience everything will break at some point, I have used nearly every brand I've been cutting grass a long time, Scag, Exmark, Grasshopper, Gravely on and on..I've used full commercial mowers with subaru and kawa and I have used prosumer models..I started cutting grass with a residential toro. When I got my very first commercial mower it was a Lazer Z that i still own today, it cost me 11,000$ I love it..would I buy a machine of that type again? No..over the years I've been going with lower end commercial mowers for one primary reason besides the $$$ and that's weight, its why I have 2 Pioneers and a Radius as of today and not 4 Lazer Z. Small motors are tough if you take care of it and have a good dealer longevity wont be an issue..my new Radius has the smallest engine but its still a commercial motor. I'm sure it will do just fine.

Joe Blow I saw it had a nylon gear that goes to metal. I'm told kawi have a similar set up. This is the first new mower I will be buying for my business. It's between this, scag freedom z, or a ferris is600z

Fake News, the motor is a Chinese Loncin (same as harbor freight) the mower is built by Toro. I'm not saying it's a bad machine, I think it's well built for it's class but, the motor is just a chinese copy of a Kawasaki

I can't believe they don't offer a kawi option on these mowers. You're just stuck with an exmark/toro chinese motor, which is fine but for some of us it's kawi or nothing. So we need to look at other mowers.

They are okay. I consider them entry level engines. I don't like the gas consumption.
Not good. I wouldn't buy one for commercial use even though they do list them as such in many applications.
Like the HD Toro series etc.
