This was preached from Broadway within 2 miles of ground zero, the Sunday after the twin towers went down. Carter had been living in NYC since the early 90's preaching at this church with David Wilkerson. The Church in which this was preached had shut down all activities and missions 2 months before the towers were struck to focus on prayer and preparation. 15 minute random silences during planned services were occurring in the months leading up to the attack on New York. 4 weeks before the towers went down God Told Carter and David, and the senior leadership , and many of the parishioners that an attack was coming the NYC, a tragedy. So when the Towers went down, TSC and these men were first on the scene helping out with food, rest, prayer tents, ect. They were not surprised when the attack happened, they had plans in place to take care of survivors and victims. You may ask "if their god told them an attack was coming why didn't they warn the leadership of NYC" and I answer you "they did, but nobody listened." One of the only men who did listen to David Wilkerson's warning was Rudy Giuliani. That is why the recovery went so fast and well. But sadly, even Rudy didn't have the means to prepare for what happened. It's not like atheist's ever listen to a Christian anyways. Don't discredit men based on lack of your own research. I discredit men and say "total BS" based on experience, research, and a significant time thinking about it. Carter Conlon has done more good in this world than your entire family combined. Even if the God he believes in is nonexistent, the results of his humanitarian work are not. Look him up, and you'll find out.
