It is in my opinion. I feel the style is up to date and how the shoe is built performance wise holds up really good. Definitely in my opinion Dons best Shoe so far.

Really glad adidas went this route. For the past 3-4 years adidas was just very mid. Theyre going in the right direction.
I was thinking the same thing about adidas I haven’t really like one since the harden 4. But I love the route they took with the DON issue 5 and the Trae young 3 isn’t to bad plus I’m excited to test out Anthony edwards shoes when they drop
I love that he has a great shoe. Do you think these are better than the Hardens?
That’s tuff I really like the Harden 4’s and the harden 7’s are really good there just heavy. But these are definitely really solid.
my question is are they lighter and not bottom heavy. I had the D.O.N. 3's and they were heavy and had a lot of heel slippage as you said
So in the Don 5 and Don 6 they are not bottom heavy at all and do a better job of not letting your heal slip. Honestly I feel you might like the Don 6 it's light had a good traction support and cushion. The don 5 isn't heavy at all either good traction support and cushion it's just the 5's are a bit stiff but still both are better than the 3's
if you were to choose between the zoom freak 5's and the D.O.N 5's what would you choose
I'd go Don 5 because the Cushion is much better in those vs the Freak 5's that cushion was really bad and it was too much of a court feel shoe in my opinion.
Also the Don has better traction and support, so all around I'll go with Don 5 any day 😅
