For those of you who don't understand this, here is simple instructions.
take strawberry laffy taffy
mould it into a tounge-like shape
take a fork
stab it
put strawberry jam on it
put it in your mouth for 3 minutes
let it get all gross and slobbery
eat it
wash your hands for a while

At first I thought you were making the tongue out of the mold you used and I was thinking to myself "why is she digging out the shape of the tongue instead of shaping it into a tongue?" and then you filled it with gelatin, then I face palmed myself because I'm dumb. When you started singing in the end I lost my shit and nearly peed my pants. For real.
Bahahahahahaha, I'm so glad you love me for weird little ole' me. And yeah if I could just sculpt the body part I need, rather than it's negative, I'd totally be sculpting more body parts. Although ideally you'd sculpt a regular tongue, cover it in plaster to get it's perfect negative, and then fill that with gelatin or whatever. So I skipped a step and went straight to making the negative the arguably harder way cause I didn't feel like dealing with plaster. Hashtag rebel.

Glitter is the herpes of crafts. Once you get it, it stays with you forever... and ever... and ever. I made some tutus for my girlfriends babyshower for our daughter, and some of the thule had glitter in it, and I'm still finding green and gold glitter on and around my desk a year and a half later.
